Issues with pool put a damper on vacation.

We just returned from a 10 day stay at this property. Our family vacations every year with three young children and the number one requirement for us when selecting a home is a heated pool. We arrived at the home on March 12th at 8pm and were informed by the property manager that it was too late in the day for someone to meet us at the home. Codes were provided so we could access the home on our own. The "heated" pool was very cold when we arrived. We tried our best to follow the directions and use the supplied remote to get the pool heater working, but we were unsuccessful. We also checked to see if the heating unit was even on and operational. On March 16th we called the property manager to ask for assistance and the housekeeper was sent over. This was the first time we met anyone associated with this rental unit. She attempted to get the pool heater working and finally informed us that a part was broken and that her husband would be by on March 18th to fix it. On March 18th the heater was fixed and the pool was warm and we enjoyed the pool until March 20th. At that time the heater stopped functoning again. On March 21st I called the property manager again to inform her about the pool. After no response I followed up with an email. She wrote back and told me that she would put in a call to have the heater looked at, but no one ever came. Instead of trying to resolve the problem a follow-up email from the property manager accused us of tampering with the heater. I never then heard from the property manager again and the pool was still cold when we left on March 22nd. This experience was very unfortunate and significantly impacted our enjoyment of the home since we only had use of a heated pool for 2.5 days.
Aside from the pool issue the community is very nice, the beach is beautiful, the sunsets are gorgeous and the home is clean, comfortable and nicely furnished.

Party Like a Rockstar!

I can't explain how happy I was with this property. As the coordinator for a company bonding trip, this house made me look good! My entire group of co-workers were very happy and satisfied with the location, accommodations and relaxation! The only thing we were disappointed about was not being able to stay longer! During our entire stay my team continuously looked at me with satisfaction and said " Wow, you picked a great place, Thank you!"
This Property was exactly as it was described if not better! As in other comments the pictures don't do this place justice, it is much more beautiful! Remington Shores is a nice area, the sand was like flour, beautiful landscaping and lots of privacy! The heated pools and hot tub were my groups favorite hang-out spots, and the connecting balconies had breath taking views of the gulf. All linens, and kitchen accessories were provided, everything you could ever need, washer and dryer, beach towels, pool toys; again, everything as described and more! The only thing that I was expecting in my mind was for the second level living rooms to be connected, it says in the description they are not, my misunderstanding. It actually worked out nice having two separate living areas when we had Michigan fans and Michigan State fans, wanting to watch two different tvs!
The house was very clean and well maintained. One of the comments below stated that the bathrooms were outdated, but I did not consider them outdated. I thought they were very nice, like a hotel, and they even included mini shower supplies! Not brand new, but def not outdated! Plenty of room to sleep more guests on the couches.
We were able to walk to dinner and breakfast and a fishing peer in both directions within a half mile. It was only a 35 min drive from the tampa airport!
I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to relax and unwind. We didn't need to go anywhere, we had everything we needed! I would not recommend this house to someone that has trouble moving around because of the tri-level set up.
The owner was very easy to work with and did a really nice job accommodating our group! She recommended that we eat at the Lobster Pot which was just down the street. Again, the owner made me look good as the trip coordinator and the food was absolutely amazing!
Don't miss out on this "Tropical Paradise". Myself and several members of my team hope to come back for a visit and bring their family!

Wonderful vacation!

We just arrived home from 6 nights at this marvelous property and couldn't wait to write our own review. We want other people searching for great places for large groups (or in our case two families) to stay and relax to know that you have a perfect location for them!
I feel like I should address the negatives first, if only so that readers will know that it's NOT what they will remember. The bathrooms on the top two floors of both units need updating like one of the reviewers previously said. The brass frosted glass doors around the oval brown porcelain tubs prevent you from really using the tubs as tubs. We had a one year old to bathe each night and positioning for ease of use and safety was difficult. To say nothing of how ugly it is. The tile is brown and yellow, the wool runners instead of bath mats in the king bathroom? Silly, really. So 4 out of the 6 baths are hideous but still fully functional. And these owners prove that they DO know how to make a beautiful bathroom: each of the pool level bathrooms with their gorgeous tile and open design leave you wishing they had carried on through upstairs! There was also a minor issue with bugs. Now we had two teenage boys with us, snacking into the night, leaving trails of crumbs. I'm positive that's why roaches showed up down there. If you are careful to be tidy, perhaps you can avoid this drawback.
But the view! The fact that the beach is literally in your backyard! The ocean waves crashing so close you can sit on the fabulous deck and sip your coffee or evening beverage (s) listening to them? The fire pit for making s'mores! The updated kitchens! The soft and luxurious linens! The crib that was conveniently left made for our baby and beach and pool toys for you and yours to play with! The living areas designed with comfort and style in mind! Did I mention how you can watch the sunset every night? From your deck or your inside couch or even your BED if you so chose? Everyone in our group of 12, ranging in age from 5 months to 40, thought the house(s) were amazing. We were all entertained, we all left relaxed, we all want to return! And soon!

We chose this place mainly because it fullfilled our requirement of having a pool and being right on the beach. Our vacation started out perfectly and stayed that way until half way into the vacation the pool filter stopped functioning. Our stay was over the Easter Holiday, so despite the efforts on behalf of the property manager to correct the filter issue, the pool company failed to pull through. Unfortunately we were without a pool for 2 1/2 days. Upon our return home we made several attempts to contact the owner's daughter and the owner in the hopes of having our problem acknowledged and possibly a small partial refund for our inconvenience. Unfortunately the owner responded only one time with inaccurate information advising us that the pool filter only turns on on Sunday, despite the fact that we advised him that the water was dirty from Sat evening through the end of our stay and the filter did not turn on for the remainder of our stay. My only other complaint is the living room furniture was a bit dated and the bathrooms on the main and upper floor were very dated. Other than that the place was beautiful.

This property is georgeous!! My family had a blast playing in the pool and relaxing on the beach. The staff was great and very helpful. Property manager was awesome. I would recommend this house to any family.

The photos do not do this house justice. It is nicer and the beach is prettier than any place we have ever stayed. Perfect for the family. We used both sides of the house and had plenty of room. The futon beds and pull out sofas were new and comfortable. The owner was helpful and easy to work with. We will be coming back often. Thanks for a great vacation. Dr. Mitch Lynch from Long Island who plans to move here and practice here part of the year.
