We were very pleased with the condition of the unit. It was clean and nicely decorated. The owner was very helpful in every way prior to our trip answering every question I asked. I would definitely recommend this property and this owner to anyone.

Beautiful, secluded property high in the mountains away from it all, yet close enough to attractions. Clean and well maintained log home with high end finishes and furnishings. Kids loved the pool table and hot tub!

A great cabin in the mountains

This is a very luxurious, comfortable and extremely well kept property. Each travelor in our party was able to enjoy a good nights sleep thanks to the high quality mattresses and bedding in each of the three bedrooms. Rarely do you find such comfort in a rental. We experienced an immaculate, ready to enjoy hot tub, a cozy gas fireplace, large jacuzzi, pool table, fully equiped kitchen and dining area, beautiful linens, extremely nice furnishings and a beautiful view. It is conveniently located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and is pet friendly as well. The owners were a pleasure to work with and were available for questions at all times. If any drawbacks at all, the road leading to the property, like most Gatlinburg cabin rentals was pretty narrow and steep.

Last Minute Labor Day Getaway to the Mountains

We reserved this cabin at the very last minute for Labor Day Weekend for our 6th anniversary. The owner was absolutely wonderful to work with and helped to make all of the arrangements simple. Upon arriving to the cabin which was very late in the evening, it was well lit and ready for our stay. The owners have done a wonderful job decorating the cabin and it entails the finest of furnishings. The beds are very comfortable which is extremely important to me. The cabin has a warm feel which is modern but very comfortable. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh. The front porch is fabulous and we loved the dining table, couch and lounge chairs and hot tub. We had our two young daughters with us and they loved the hot tub and I felt good about them getting in it knowing that it had been emptied and cleaned since the last renters. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who is trying to sort through the thousands that are available. These owners take great pride in renting their home and it shows in every detail. Thank you again, for making our trip wonderful!

We had a fabulous vacation, the accomodation is well appointed and in a wonderful setting, nearby Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have some great restaurants and there are lot's of places of interest.

Lovely Cabin

Everything was as nice if not nicer than shown in the photos. From dinners on the deck at the outdoor dining table to playing pool in the lounge in the loft we had fun. Our 2 year old loved having his own house (master suite) to himself. Our four legged kid (one spoiled puggle dog) felt right at home. The kitchen is great and having a washer and dryer was nice - did laundry before we left so I didn't have to do it after a long drive home. The jacuzzi tub in the main master suite is huge and very relaxing. We had an easy commute to pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Pretty private location even with cabins on either side and accross the street.

Relaxing in the Smokies

This was our first experience with a cabin so we did not know what to expect. This cabin was beautifully furnished and they provided so many items (spices etc.) to cook with. We loved sitting out on the large and very private porch and listening to the sounds of nature. Carolyn was excellent to work with and we would not hesitate renting from them again in the future. You can tell that a lot of love and thought went into the funishing of this cabin.

great family getaway!!!

WE had a great time. The lodge was so beautifully decorated and had plenty of space for all of us. (Three couples and grand baby) The kitchen was so new and appliances were the best!. Also, really nice living area with plenty of room for relaxing, games, and eating meals. Loved the loft pool table, and the beds were great in all three bedrooms!! We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch with the super nice furniture and had great times laughing and visiting in the hot tub. This was a great vacation time for our family and the lodge was just wonderful. We are quite picky about clean, nice places to stay and this exceeded our expectations!! Also, really enjoyed the process of renting from the owners. They were extremely helpful and dealing with them was a pleasure.

Wonderful Mountain Retreat

What a great area and a wonderful home away from home. We had a relaxing few days staying at the lodge in the winter months - enjoying spectacular scenery, mountain walks, great skiing and star gazing from the porch. There are lots of places to visit, dine and shop in the immediate area. The lodge was welcoming, warm, clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would expect from a top quality rental property. We especially enjoyed the views from the floor to ceiling windows - watching the local wildlife and the ever changing sky.
I would love to visit this area again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Superb relaxing long weekend

My husband and recently spent yet another superb long weekend at ‘Sunset Lodge’ in the Smokey Mountains. The cabin is BEAUTIFUL, wonderfully secluded and tucked up high in the mountains with fabulous views and all the luxuries you could wish for. We watched incredible sunset after sunset from the lovely deck – occasionally from the bubbling hot tub. At night the cabin was so cozy and secure with the fireplace providing ambient light and additional warmth. Seemingly remote and yet minutes from great restaurants, shopping and the local market. The cabin is immaculately maintained and furnished and we can’t wait to visit again. The owners are always so accommodating and lovely to deal with and we HIGHLY recommend anyone to book ‘Sunset Lodge’, we know you will thoroughly enjoy it! We will definitely be back once again for the fall colors!
