Three generations of daughters gather here to celebrate her birthday – mother, daughter, granddaughter (daughter’s birthday). Beautiful place! We loved the view, easy access to beautiful beach and warm, cozy, home-like place to stay. We will come here again too! (God willing) Good times & Blessings here!

We Had Everything We Needed!!

Our family really enjoyed our stay in The Whole Chinook. The townhouses are set up with very nice furniture, kitchen items, beds/bedding, and it was nice that everyone had a king-sized bed and bathroom. We had everything we needed!!! Everyone was comfortable and happy and we will have many fond memories of our time there. We look forward to our Yachats family vacation every year and hope we can use Sweet Homes Rentals again next year.

We stayed at the Whole Chinook for our family Thanksgiving. The location is fantastic, you could hear the beach from the home. Waldport was great for crabbing and Depoe Bay was awesome. It was really nice to have both sides of the house, both where very comfortable. We had a quiet side and a family side so there was always a place to escape. We got lucky to be there during a storm that was spectacular with the waves hitting the shore. It was amazing; there is nothing like the Oregon Coast.

So Close to the Beach!

"The proximity to the beach surprised me - it was better than the pictures indicated! The beach was only a 20 second walk from the home where we watched whale pods and sunsets every night. And of course lots of beachcombing among the waves. There was a little grocery store just up the road, which had everything we needed. The house (Chinook East) was great - lots of space and very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed - especially like happy hour on the deck. Overall - a wonderful place to stay!

This property is a perfect location to use as a base to visit the Oregon coast. It is across the street from the beach, so perfect for walking and viewing the sunsets. Yachats has a village feel to it rather than the commercial and crowded conditions up north, yet we easily drove to Tillamook to tour the cheese factory and went to Newport for lunch another day. For those who like to hike, there is opportunity for that at Cape Perpetua. The property is very welcoming with amazingly comfortable beds and a very well stocked kitchen. With 2 master bedrooms there is plenty of privacy.

Royal Chinook East; what a great place to enjoy

We stayed for a week during the late summer and enjoyed Yachats and all the wonderful beach communities near Yachats. There are several nice restaurants in town, like The Drift In, Ona and don't miss the Green Salmon for breakfast. We loved sitting on the deck watching the sea and even saw a couple of whales passing by. The condo was quite large, more than comfortable with every imaginable ammenity, and cleaner than my home! No kidding, it was perfect in every way! We hated to leave, I don't think I ever slept so well, that was some comfy bed. Thanks so much, we will be back soon!

Beautifully decorated, comfy beds, all felt clean and new. Perfect for 1 or 2 couples or family with kids. Easy walking distance to all of downtown, and just a 1/2 block from tide pools.
