Already love Carpenteria, so was glad to find this little gem of a condo for my recent 1-week stay there. It was great place from which to stage bike rides up and down the coast and into the hills. 2 minute walk to the beach, 3 mins to the wetland preserve, and around 5 mins to good eats, very well located. Condo is clean, had more amenities than I expected, with a nice kitchen which made doing meals easy. Parking on site was nice, and it was very quiet the whole time I was there. This just might be the best deal in Carp, but it doesn't feel cheap in any way. Well recommended, I'd come again! PS- loved the music stations on the TV, and the wifi was faster than I have at home

My wife and I stayed here for a week. We had a wonderful time in Carpinteria. The town is so relaxing with many great restaurants of all types and a mellow beach to enjoy at our leisure. The condo was a perfect match for us. It was clean and comfortable with all the comforts of home. The beach and the downtown area were both within walking distance of the condo. We would like to come back again next year.

Our family of four, including two preschoolers, enjoyed a relaxing labour day weekend staying in this great house in beautiful Carpinteria. The house is compact but has all you need for a comfortable stay, including a great collection of kid's DVDs! The furnishings are stylish, beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has every amenity - we had no complaints at all. Best of all was the proximity to the beach, just a block and a bit walk and no stressing about finding parking. Also a short walk to the shops and restaurants in the evening. Lots of fun and all in all a great stay.

We had a very relaxing and wonderful stay at the Sandpiper condo. The space was just perfect for our family and was exactly as described. There were many sleeping options with the pull out couch, convertible ottoman beds, king bed and the nook under the stairway. The condo was very clean, well decorated and the kitchen had everything you could need for your stay. The owners are so helpful and welcoming.

We were just steps from a very clean and picturesque beach. We brought our bikes up with us and the kids and all of us were so happy to be able to ride around town, to the park and around the state park trail.

The town is very family friendly with lots of places you can walk to and great parks & playgrounds for kids to play, in addition to the beach. It's very pedestrian and bike friendly; there are few cars that drive and those who drive are so courteous to people walking or biking. Everyone in town is so friendly and welcoming. There are lots of eating options and it's very convenient.

We went to Santa Barbara for a day, taking the Amtrak train. It's just a 15 minute ride from the Carpinteria Amtrak station. We went to the Santa Barbara Zoo, Santa Barbara Mission and just explored the city.

Carpinteria is a great place to visit and to stay and to slow down. It was a refreshing and relaxing family vacation and we look forward to staying here again and to visiting this charming town.

Personally, we would like to keep this our own little secret but............ Everything was as advertised by Mark. Comfy bed, roomy bathroom, well-stocked with everything we needed. I have been vacationing in Carpinteria for over 30 years and this was definitely our best stay. Only used the car once, to go to Dallas Cowboys training camp in Oxnard, as everything is within walking distance. Many great restaurants and then you can walk off your meal! Not really accurate to say it's a block from the beach; more like a really small block, about a 2 minute walk. Well be back next year! Thanks Mark and Michelle!

We are annual visitors to Carpinteria and have always stayed in the campground with family. This year we chose a condo instead and we will never pitch a tent again!

This condo exceeded all of our expectations. It is very nicely furnished and stocked with everything to make any stay in Carpinteria memorable. It has wi-fi, cable TV in two rooms, good ventilation because it is an end unit and has an extra window upstairs. It is stocked with more than enough extra towels, pillows, sheets, and bedding to satisfy everyone.

The reserved covered parking is very nice. However, we stayed for a week and only used the car once because of the perfect location. it is walking distance to the train, grocery, restaurants, the Spot, park, campgrounds, and the beach. The building also has its own laundry room that was always very clean. Although the units are close together I never heard any noise from the other units.

I think I loved the key-pad entry feature the best. I easily set it to my own personal PIN upon arrival and then never had to worry about keys (or losing them), it was great!

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed the place, in fact we already booked it again for our next visit.

A perfect location so close to the beach, and walking distance to downtown and nearby park. The condo was just the right size for our family of 4 and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The train is walking distance to the condo and takes you to local cities like Santa Barbara. We would recommend a day trip to Solvang, it is a 45 minute drive and is a wonderful little Danish town.

This is our second Carp trip. We just love Carpinteria. From start to finish this has been a wonderful trip. The Condo has an excellent location. Steps to beach, steps to town, steps to the store. You do not need your car. Which Is a blessing considering gas prices. The bed upstairs is huge and comfy. We liked the nice view of the mountains while laying back on the fluffy pillows. The beach chairs came in very handy. Stocked kitchen allowed us to save some cash eating at "home" and coffee every morning yahoo! Don't miss the selection of DVD's, books and mags. Our son loved sleeping "under the stairs" a great reading nook as well. The spot has a great burger or bean and cheese, giavonnis is a nice walk for pizza and view of mountains just a hop skip and a jump to fosters freeze. Then walk it off back to the Condo to play board games. Thanks to the "Best Deal in Carp" y'all made us feel like family!
