It's a palatial 2500 square-foot 4-brm 2 bath home with a 60-foot center hall (8 feet wide!) large veranda overlooking Frenchmen, Chartres and Kerlerec streets. Recently completed a $30,000 renovation!! My house has 4 bedrooms with 5 queen-size beds and one bedroom with a full-size futon, a large kitchen with high-end stainless steel appliances (Jenn-Air convection oven and gas range), large dining room, office, large living room, 50' plasma TV w/ cable, wireless internet, washer and dryer, central air and heat, ceiling fans all over the place, sparkling hardwood floors, great view of Frenchmen and Chartres streets from the huge veranda ... and linens (sheets and towels) are provided. Two bathrooms, two clawfoot tubs with showers... One of the bathrooms is as big as most bedrooms! This house is even bigger than it looks in photos and video.

If you look really carefully, you'll see this house in the classic movie 'Easy Rider,' and you can catch it every now and then on 'Treme.' Guests have included a former Louisiana governor, a New Orleans police chief and a distinguished documentary crew from New York filming for a major network.

I stayed here with 10 guys. The place is much larger than it looks in the pictures. The location is amazing for Frenchman St. and for walking in to the French Quarter. Jon was really easy to deal with and very quick to respond to any questions and to return the security deposit. I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks, Jon!

BEST TRIP EVER, BECAUSE OF THIS HOUSE: Seriously cannot say enough about the house or Jonathon. Both were exceptional. Jonathon was great and very easy to deal with and he answered all my silly questions and returned our deposit the day after departure. The house location is perfect, walking distance to everywhere including Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street, the market, restaurants, shopping, etc. The house is equipped with everything, as if you were at home. No need for a taxi at any time. We had 10 women stay at the house and each and everyone of us loved it, we truly appreciated the large balcony in front of the house. We will definately be returning customers. This was our first time renting a house on our yearly trip, I must say the video and pictures do not do it justice, IT WAS EXCEPTIONAL & WAY BEYOND OUR EXPECTATIONS!!!

Better than expected!

We went there for a bachelor party in February. The objective was to have a home base to: keep all the guys together, centrally located, and fairly laid back... after all 11 guys were going to call it home for a weekend. Here's what we thought:

- Great location between Bourbon and Frenchman St. Walkable all around.
- The house was in great shape, it really did look much better than the video. Slept all of us just fine.
- The Balcony was a great place for the morning after regroup and reflection conversations.
- Jonathan was great to deal with, even when I was wigging out about getting my deposit to him in time.

Overall, well worth the stay. The apartment was great, Jonathan was nothing but courteous and professional. Would definitely recommend to others. I'm happy to give a personal reference if needed. Just ask Jonathan to shoot you Shane from Washington DC's info and I would be happy to answer any questions.

Perfect House, Perfect Weekend

I rented the house from Jonathan for a group of 10 girls over a holiday weekend. The pictures do not do the house justice, it is in the perfect neighborhood, close to everything, and the character, cleanliness, and space in the house were all just impeccable. Jonathan was extremely easy to deal with; helpful and we could tell he really just wanted us to have a good time. His responsiveness to our questions and payment was extremely fast. The house was comfortable and charming and had everything we needed and more for a fantastic weekend. We will definitely rent here again! Thanks for everything.

Excellent house - perfect location. Jonathon was the best to deal with on all aspects of the house, location, places to eat, etc. The response time for all emails was on point. The pictures on the website do not reflect the house - it is beautiful, large, well stocked and the porch is great! We had 11 ladies down for a bachelorette party and everyone had a bed and even with having only two bathrooms - they were large enough to fit a few in at one time. Each bedroom was spacious and did I mention the location of the house??? It was steps away from Frenchmen St - tons of music and good bars. It was only several blocks from Bourbon & Royal. We were able to explore all locations and then have a great house to return to relax. I would suggest this to large groups that does not mind having action right out in front of the house - it was great. Thanks Jonathon!!!!

Best Place to Stay if Visiting New Orleans

John's place is awesome. He's very friendly, and the location is perfect (sandwiched right between the Quarter and Frenchman's, and walking distance to some really great places to eat in the Marigny/Bywater). But most importantly, the house is large and beautiful. Definitely coming back again!

Best. Vacation. Ever.

Eight of us stayed in this house for a 3 night/4 day trip. We used a cab exactly twice, to and from the airport. We were able to walk everywhere else. We traveled up and down Bourbon street one day and to Café Du Mont for beignets another. Frenchman Street (my most favorite area, by far) is a thirty second walk from the front door and is the most incredible neighborhood I could have hoped to stay in. Café’s, dive bars, and upscale restaurants all seem to somehow live harmoniously. The house was extremely clean and very well maintained. The bedrooms were larger than I imagined, and the living room, with its oversized furniture and large television, provided a perfect place to spend what little downtime we had. Jonathan was extremely easy to work with and met us upon our arrival. He gave us a tour of the house and some tips about the area, and then was on his way. We are already working on plans to visit again.

Amazing location in the Marigny triangle

Jonathan's house was the perfect place for a long weekend in New Orleans. Close enough to the French Quarter to walk, but just far enough away to feel like you can get away from the scene. The Marigny triangle is incredible with some great restaurants and music clubs right out your door on Frenchmen St. We spent the early evenings on the huge porch sipping Sazeracs and Pimms Cups before dinner. The house is much larger than the pictures appear and is clean and very well appointed. Jonathan is a pleasure to deal with and met us at the house to give a quick tour and some tips on the area. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to make some great memories and stay in the most ideal location in New Orleans. It is well worth every penny to rent this house and enjoy everything that New Orleans has to offer. Our group is looking forward to returning again in the future and will certainly rent this house again.

Great place, great location, great times

This place is great. It was perfect for our gathering of 12 sweet dudes having a sweet time. At one point, we had some more sweet dudes from a neighboring party stop by and enjoy the classic details and architecture of the interior. This place is larger than it looks in the pictures, and there was ample room for all of us to sleep each night. It's a short block to plenty of great music, bars, and food. If you comply with the few simple ground rules laid out by the landlord, you will have a great time. Bonus points for the maximum chill space on the front porch. Would stay again.

Excellent Place

We took 11 guys for a bachelor party here and oculd not have been more pleased with the choice of locations. Frenchman around the street is a awesome place for bars and music, Bourbon is just a couple blocks downthe street and the Market is a great place for lunch during the day. I promise, if you want to have a blast and be in the middle of everything, with more than enough room...stay here! I will most likely look to rent this spot again next year.
