Though this place was bad, the worst part of the trip was the customer service! I came to FL to celebrate Miami Carnival. Wasn't looking for the Ritz or Four Seasons, just needed a safe, clean place to go for the few hours I actually planned to sleep! I got neither. Upon arrival Friday 10/5, I noticed a non-existent outside light to the unit. The door to the unit I rented was fenced in & pitch black dark at night making it inconvenient (had to walk around another unit to get to ours due to a locked fence), unsafe & not comforting! Not a deal breaker, I was traveling with men... Inside, there were long black hairs everywhere...on the sink, floor & in the shower of BOTH bathrooms! Floors hadn't been swept in at least a week. Debris left from past renters; clothes tags stuck to the wall & floor, laying on the stairs & even a band aid laying behind a door. There weren't enough towels or washcloths. Listing touts that it sleeps 8, must only expect 4 of them to shower, there were only 4 towels & 4 washcloths! I advised the reservation clerk there would be at least 5 & as many as 6 people staying. Walls were stained in the kitchen, refrigerator did not seal properly, 3 extra trash bags for the whole house for 4 days, the iron was chipped and sticky so you couldnt use it unless you wanted to damage your clothes & MOUSE DROPPINGS. The the absolute worst part was the overflowing sewage drain...raw sewage spewing out right onto the ground directly into our path to get out of the complex! I called several times over the first 2 nights regarding these issues, even sent an email about all but the drain as it hadn't yet overflowed. Couldn't leave a message at first, finally left one & still waiting on a call back. We happened to spot the person who checked us in walking the grounds on Saturday & told him our concerns. He reluctantly gave us 3 more towels & 2 washcloths & told us someone would come to clean the bathrooms. NEVER HAPPENED. I called back later to tell him nothing had been done he told me that someone would be there Sunday. NEVER HAPPENED. The drain was eventually cleaned up late Tuesday morning, but that was it and we checked out that day anyway! The rental looked just like the pictures, just not as clean. I could've overlooked most of this had our concerns actually been addressed! Felt like they took our money & didn't care to deal with us after that. I most certainly would NOT recommend!!! Don't waste your time and money!!!

Please accept my apologies on behalf of Habitat Residence hotel that our facilities did not meet your expectations. I was extremely disappointed to learn of your experiences while you were a guest of our hotel, the inconsideration and nature of what you described are unacceptable and certainly not how our team should work. I can assure you that I have personally addressed these shortcomings with the appropriate staff members so that we can avoid a future re-occurrence of this nature.
On behalf of our entire team I would like to apologize again and in an effort to regain your trust in Habitat Residence I would like you to try to consider staying in our main Tower.
