A great location, the house was more than we could have hoped for. The deck became the focal point of our days, from morning coffee, to beautiful sunsets. We were able to grill our fresh fish on the gas grill and prepare our dinners utilizing the completely equipped kitchen,the fireplace added a great atmosphere for our stay at home dinners. The house is very private, yet well located to explore the island's many excellent restaurants and winery's close by. The owner was very helpful when we had questions about the Island, yet was invisible unless called upon. Kayaks and rowboat provided much enjoyment, the nearby trails provided interesting hikes. We will return!

What an amazing way to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary! We stayed for a week and loved every minute. The house is in a perfect location on the waterfront and as it is facing west we enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets over the surrounding islands. We particularly loved having our meals on the deck and walking on the beach below, revelling in the natural beauty around us.
The house was spotless with everything provided that we could need to make our stay really comfortable and very easy, especially for us, as we were travelling from Australia.
Another great convenience was being very close (with 10 minutes) of both the airport and the Vancouver ferry terminal as well as Sidney if we wanted to do any shopping. There was also a very good little grocery store about 2 minutes away which sold wonderful local produce.
We are already trying to plan when we can come and stay again and our only regret is that we live so far away, we won't be able to return as often as we'd like. We would certainly recommend this property to our friends.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay in this place. It is set in a very quiet and beautiful neighbourhood. The panorama view of the ocean, waterfront deck, direct access to the beach and water activities, and the beautiful gardens were the great features we very much appreciated. The house itself is artistically decorated with all the amenities we needed. Every corner is filled with cosiness and tranquility, we just wished we could have more time to spend here. Last but not the least, the host is very kind, helpful and respectful. This vocation home is a very lovely place!

I enjoy staying at this gorgeous property on Vancouver Island. As I pull up in my car, I can't believe that I get to stay in this beautiful home! Wow! You will be so happy you chose to stay here!
It has a big kitchen with all the appliances to cook your gourmet meals, and a wonderful deck where you can sip delicious wine and enjoy the sunset.
The owner is very helpful with local activities and sights to see.
I am grateful to have stayed here and will return again in joy!

My wife and two daughters (ages 10 & 11) enjoyed a beautiful two-week stay at this property. Each morning we had an great view from the huge windows in the main room overlooking the water. I also enjoyed my morning coffee on the deck.

We enjoyed walks along the beach in front of our house, and the kids found plenty of subjects to photograph with their cameras. We really enjoyed the amazing sunsets each night.

The house was well equipped and suitable for a family (e.g. laundry machine, DVD, etc...). Trips into Sidney were fast and easy, as was access to the Pay Bay highway for trips to Victoria or to Sooke. We also enjoyed hiking nearby at Horth Hill which has a nice lookout.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!

This place is amazing! The pictures just don't do it justice. We spent most of our time on the deck listening to the waves and birds and marveling at the beautiful surroundings.
The property is located minutes from the airport and ferries, and is a great place to start and end each day's adventure.
We can't thank you enough for your hospitality, your home is beautiful and we can't wait to return.

I was very impressed and loved this home- it was hard to leave! From the moment I walked in I felt amazed with the beautiful setting and comfortable furnishings.
The photos are grand but in person will take your breath away with the grandness of this home.The home and surroundings are immaculately maintained and have everything for your convenience and comfort.
