Everything was exactly as advertised, clean and comfortable. Jay and Lauren were extremely accommodating in every way. I look forward to my next stay at one of their properties.

We had a comfortable stay in the Greenroom. It was cold when we first got in but quickly warmed up. We had 3 kids and 7 adults that were accommodated well . It was conveniently located in walking distance to Zilker park so we had a fun time walking to the Trail of Lights. The fair trade coffee waiting to be brewed fresh was a great welcoming.

The Greenroom is ideal for a visit to Austin. Its in a quiet residential area but you soon discover youre not far from everything. Barton Springs and the beautiful Zilker Park trail (you can walk for miles) are about a five minute walk away. Barton Springs Rd with cafes and bars is about ten minutes walk and South Lamar Rd for some great music venues and eateries is about 15 mins walk through the estate (we found walking down Collier the quickest to South Lamar). For great music every night Id recommend The Saxon Pub on South Lamar.

If youre feeling more adventurous the eclectic shops,cafes and bars (and another great music venue..The Continental) are about 40 minutes walk away on South Congress as is the city (6th St and all).. If thats too long a walk a cab costs about 10 dollars and buses from Barton Springs Rd or South Lamar are a dollar each.

Its my second visit to Austin and its great. Last time we stayed in the city but Id definetely recommend The Zilker park area for great walks, bars, restaurants etc..and like I say, its easy to get into the city. The Greenroom is spot on.

A big thank you to Lauren as well.On Thanksgiving Eve we couldnt get the Dryer to work. She came down and took our Laundry away and had it done for us and within a few hours someone had been and fixed the dryer. Great service!

We were a party of 4 male adults and we were all able to sleep seperately and comfortably in the Greenroom. All in all, a great stay!

This was the third year we've stayed at the Green Room for the ACL Music Festival. Jay and Lauren know how to treat guests well. All of the 'business' elements of renting were handled very easily. Their attention to our needs made the stay delightful.

The house is in a great location near Zilker Park (site of ACL), Barton Springs swimming area (a must for any Austin traveler), bike trails, and many places to eat. Downtown is right across the river. There's an Enterprise car rental station within walking distance. The house has a great porch for taking in sweet Austin breezes. The living area is large enough to accommodate many friends and/or families. Neighbors were very friendly in providing advice on where things are.

We're hoping to make it four years of renting the Green Room for ACL 2013.

We rented the Greenroom for a long weekend and certainly weren't disappointed. The house is spacious and easily accommodated our group of 6 (we should've brought more friends). The management was friendly and helpful from inquiry through the duration of our stay. The location was a huge plus as well...when they say Zilker Park, they mean a stones through from the Barton Springs Pool and all the restaurants on Barton Springs. Book and enjoy!

This was the perfect place for my family (me, husband, 2 kids aged 10 & 13, 2 doggies)! Walking down to Barton Springs was awesome. The house was super clean and comfy. Everything we wanted to do was either a walk--Chuy's!! Shady Grove!!--or a 10-minute drive--Rudy's!!!--or an easy bike ride. When we return to Austin, I hope we can stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Greenroom House. We felt right at home, location was great with everything close by. We got to enjoy austin like a local, a few blocks away from Zilker Park and close to so many restaurants and Soco. Loved it, loved it, and loved it! We will definitely come back soon and from now on only use vacationcake.com to book all our stays in austin.

I stayed at the Green Room with my adult children and a buddy from Boston during the 2011 ACL Festival. The location could not have been better with Zilker Park only a 15 minute walk, short walk to Barton Springs, and a convenience store is a short stroll away. The layout of the house allows for privacy in the bedrooms while providing common areas in the open upstairs and on the porch. We all recommend the Green Room highly.
