My daughter wanted a small wedding ceremony with just our family in the Phoenix area. We chose this beautiful home, and it was better than we could have imagined. The setting was unbelievable: private, restic, but so well taken care of, all the amenities that we needed. Our stay was wonderful, and not only did we have a beatiful wedding, but we thoroughly enjoyed the area. Cartwright's catered a delicious dinner, and we enjoyed a restful dinner at Tonto's on our last night there. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at ElEncanto, and grilling out in the patio. I would recommend this home for any kind of get-away.

We thank the owners for sharing their home with us for the month of February, 2012. Our experience was tremendous. The home was more than described on VRBO -- spotlessly clean, beautiful location, tremendous fenced yard, views that 'never stopped' and then we went inside -- furnished exquisitely, all the extras one would look forward to, a master suite beyond expectation, kitchen fully equipped and deluxe, very comfortable great room/living area. All the amenities of home and more.
We were so pleased we have booked for 2013 and are anxiously awaiting our return to Cave Creek.
If you have the opportunity to arrange a time to stay in this wonderful setting and home, take it!

Our family stayed here during a baseball tourney and loved our time here. The house was wonderful--completely exceeded our expectations from the pictures and the area was convenient!

My spouse and I, and our dogs, stayed here for a month during the summer of 2011. The home was beautiful and well-equipped. We enjoyed walking the dogs in the evenings, and the views of the mountains in every direction. We enjoyed the spool, as well. We would recommend this property to anyone.

This was our 3rd experience staying in a VRBO property and it was the BEST!! Great owners to work with. Everything about the house exceeded our expectations! We came to golf and the location was perfect...easily accessible to some of the best golf courses in the Scotsdale area. Carefree and Cave Creek offer wonderful entertainment and eating options. We plan on staying there again next year.

This was our third year visiting the Cave Creek area and what a pleasant surprise! We arrived one morning at 1am after a long flight from Boston, unlocked the home, dropped our luggage & hit the beds, since our bodies were on east coast time. It was such a pleasant surprise waking up the next morning in the master bedroom. My husband brought me in coffee and said "let me start you a fire". He reached over to the control at the side of the bed, and a fire started in the beautiful bed height fireplace! Then he opened the drapes to the most beautiful mountain views! I thought I was in heaven. The mountains are so beautiful with the colors as the sun starts to rise. It is hard to explain unless you have experienced it. Just like seeing the Grand Canyon at sunrise or sunset...a must do.
I can go on & on about the house but it was just wonderful! Jerry & Lori arranged to have a welcome basket with coffee & wine, etc...which was totally unexpected. We have rented home throughout the country & this was the first!
The kitchen was a dream...top of the line everything! The outside entertainment area, we fell in love with. We used the grill twice and one afternoon we had a friend over for cocktails & BBQ. It was so nice sitting around the bar, looking at the views, listening to the waterfall of the spool pool & wonderful music. Sooo nice!!! I know it would be very habit forming. The weather was bit cooler when we visited, maybe that was good, otherwise I would never have wanted to leave the house.
In the morning, to early afternoon, we would sit on the front porch & take in another set of views. We enjoyed that the houses weren't on top of each other. It was very close to everything but far enough away. At night while I would read in bed,with the fireplace dancing, I would hear the coyotes, which was so relaxing. One night we came home & one was in the driveway!! He was more afraid of us.
I had mentioned to Jerry that we were on a house hunting trip this time and we told our realtor we wanted a place just like what we were staying in.
If you travel a lot, you will truly appreciate the premium amenites the owners have provided in this top notch home. It is a very nice find, since as a owner you have to trust your renters and hope they will take care of the property, like it is their own. As an owner, renting to strangers, they do not hold back. I surely hope the renters respect & appreciate this.

Property was as described, if anything it exceeded our expectations, The living area is very large and with outdoor patios there is more than enough space. An outdoors fire and bar area makes it excellent for sitting outside of an evening, my sister and her husband joined us from Wales, and the (occasional) howling of the coyotes certainly impressed them.
The towns of Cave Creek and Carefree (2-3 miles distant) have plenty of restaurants. I will also mention the Cave Creek museum, small but excellent and worth a visit.
