This was the second time my wife and I have stayed at the Bertrands home on Water Island. It's a beautiful home with everthing you can ask for. Very spaciuos with water views from all rooms. Each bedroom has their own bathroom. The location is great it's the first house when you get off the fairy from St Thomas. The kitchen is nicer than our kitchen at home with a dinning room and outside patio with a large table and lots of seating over looking the infinity pool. They have several golf carts and veichles for the guests to use around the Island and the beach is minutes away from the house. It takes about half and hour from the airport to get to the home. Great place can't wait to go back!!

Second Time, Just As Great!

This was the second time I've rented from Lisa and her husband, and as always, a great property with immaculate support. I'm getting ready to rent it again for the third time, and when I say rent, I've rented all three pieces, the main house, the two-story condo and the studio apartment. For the level of quality and fairly newly built construction, all a bargain for this area of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
I've rented from others on Water Island before, but this by far beats all the other properties out there. They deliver what they promise and the photos don't do the property justice as it's nicer than you see online. Not to mention, it's the best and closest property to the ferry dock, which makes things much easier when you're headed to St. Thomas. In fact, you can see the ferry coming in from the back balcony as well as beautiful St. Thomas--which looks spectacular at night from the poolside view.
The house is fully stocked with linens, towels, cutlery, dishes and more for all your needs. It's got a great swimming pool, fitness gym and lots of extras. If you need anything, you also get a phone number of the local people that help manage the property that will go out of their way to help you. You can't go wrong! I highly recommend this place, well worth it!

AMAZING!!

"Villa Acquabella was a really comfortable home to spend a dream vacation in with my fiancee and family. We will definitely return and possibly even have the wedding here! The house is well appointed with everything you could ever need and more. We really enjoyed the pool and al fresco dining. The cool breezes swept through the whole house so there was no need for any AC, so we didn't ever have to turn it on! I was able to stay connected with excellent WiFi service, too. Water Island is a relaxing little island and the residents are warm and friendly. Honeymoon beach is amazing! Heidi's for lunch, Joe's beach bar for some great Pain Killers, and crystal clear Caribbean blue water to swim in...what more does one need? We will be back!"

My experience at this property was wonderful. I attended a women's retreat there in October 2012 and we enjoyed he amenities. The property is beautiful with great views of Charlotte Amalie. The rooms are nicely decorated with great character. I would definetly refer this property to others. It is also in great proximity to Honeymoon beach and the ferry dock. I had a wonderful time!

Paradise Found!

We are a well traveled family in search of the ultimate vacation destination. It's a pretty tall order when considering we are three generations with varying interests and abilities and as much as we've tried, we'd just not yet found that perfect balance... until now! Villa Aquabella is exquisite, and the island is like a hidden treasure! It's rare to feel like family after only one week, but this close knit island welcomed and embraced us like we had been there all along. As for the accomodations, no detail has gone overlooked, leaving everyone feeling pampered, relaxed and exilerated at the same time. This was truly the ultimate vacation and the memories we made will be forever treasured! Thank you!

Ultimate large group relaxation.

My wife and I traveled to Villa Aqua Bella in Feb 2009 with 20 family and friends to get married on Honeymoon beach. We absolutely loved our stay. We had lots of kids along and really liked the safety and security on Water Island. It is so quiet and away from all of the crowds. The snorkeling that is within walking distance of the house is some of the best that I have ever seen.
For our group we enjoyed the large kitchen and being able to prepare our own food and dine in. Getting food to the house [from the main island]is a bit of a challenge, but the kitchen is a great place to socialize, and once the meal is prepared, dining by the pool is such a treat.
We liked that with our large group that we could all comfortably hang around the large house together, go to the beach together, or groups could head off on their own to do other activities on St Thomas. We even took a chartered sailboat to St John's one day for more great snorkeling.
If you go for a visit, check out the local deli/market that is only 300-400 yards away. They have a pizza night and other dinner options on the weekend. Plan on doing lots of snorkeling within walking distance. The ferry is very close and fairly convenient [make sure you don't miss the last trip back in the evening], so going over to St Thomas is easy, but plan on spending lots of time on the quieter more peaceful Water Island. On a trip over to St Thomas stock up on food and bevvies, come back and RELAX!
