I'm a semi retired builder. We enjoy the large variety of activities there are to do at the Boyne resorts, Boyne City, Petosky and Gaylord

Stephan purchased this condo in 2013

Steve purchased this condo in 2013

After many trips up to Northern Michigan for the past 30 years it made sense for us to get a place up here. I like to golf, ski, play some blackjack, eat and spend time with my family and freinds in this scenic part of our state.

It’s much easier walking to the chairlift a few minutes from our condo rather than hauling all or gear from motels in the area. Likewise when golfing I'm only 5 minutes away from the clubhouse. I can also spend time hiking, bike riding and swimming or eating at the Boyne Resort. The Avalanche Bay Water Park and Solace Spa are within the Boyne resort. There are also several restaurants on site or within 20 minutes away in Boyne City, Petoskey or Gaylord. The Odawa Casino is only 20 minutes away.

We were very happy with the condo and the overall experience in dealing with the owners.
The owners were very friendly and communicative right from the start all the way through to a follow up.
The condo was very nice and spacious.
Location wise, it couldn't have been better, just a short walk to everything but just far enough away to be peaceful and quiet.
We will definitely be back again and would recommend this rental to anyone.
Owner's Response: Thanks and glad you enjoyed it.

This condo was wonderful and it is close to the main lifts of Boyne Mountain. Had all the conveniences of home (except foil but we borrowed from a neighbour). We couldn't figure out the fireplace but the central heating worked beautifully. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Very clean and well maintained. Steve responded to all our questions promptly. Thanks again.

Great ski in/out condo at Boyne, great owner!

My family took a mid-week ski vacation up to Boyne for the first time Feb 17-21. Leading up the vacation, I had many questions about the Condo and Boyne Mountain in general. Steve answered every one promptly and accurately. It really made it easy for us to plan, and relieved any tension/unknowns about what we were getting.

There were many perks:
- You could honestly put your ski's on at the back slider, and push your way down hill right to the Boyneland lift. On the way in, you would walk maybe 500 yards. It was great.
- I loved the digital lock system on the door. I hate worrying about losing keys, especially when we were all coming and going so easily because of location.
- The kitchen area seemed completely new, and was well equipt.
- The bedrooms are set up very well, the Master (2 queens) is huge, with a big bath. The other two bedrooms are down a hall way, and can actually be "closed" off by a pocket door (not locked, but for sound). This worked out well for us with people sleeping at different times of the day.
- There was parking for two cars, which was nice.
- Everything was very clean, and it was nice to have a working fireplace.
- Having "ski racks" and mats for boots in the rooms was also a nice touch. Especially because you can ski right out the back doors.
-We even walked back and forth to the Waterpark which was also convenient. Your car really can stay parked for your entire stay.

Boyne as a whole was awesome. The fact that they have one chairlift free for beginners and young children allows you to keep the price down a bit on days that you just want to hang with your kids, or ski only a little bit.

I would highly recommend renting through Steve. His rental process is very detailed, which is the way I like it. Money is due when it's due, and he lives up to his end of the deal on time as well.

Thanks again Steve!

This is one of the original older Boyne condos that has been nicely updated. New kitchen and baths. Nice furnishings. Location is not right on the trail but perfectly acceptable. Parking was easy even with three vehicles. I have stayed at Boyne at least 10 years now in most of the different condo options and this is a great value for its location.

Family Skiing Meetup in Petoskey

The stars aligned and family members from all over the state were able to come together in Petoskey. As kids we spent every Christmas skiing and as we grew into adulthood the opportunities to gather to ski as a family dwindled. One conversation on Facebook and the seed was planted...

We stayed at Steve and Debbie's Boyne Mountain Condo. The fit was perfect. The condo was clean, well-maintained and had all the resources necessary to make our stay comfortable. Although there were a number of us, the three bedrooms and sofa were able to accommodate us nicely. Also, the open area with the kitchen, dining table and living area provided us with a nice gathering space. The furniture was comfortable.

The owners were timely in their communications and provided us all the information necessary to make our way easily to the condo. A ski lift was within easy walking distance.

We has a super time. Thanks.

What a great place to stay for a small family gathering of skiing after Christmas. The walk to the ski lifts was short and right on the lift. The kitchen is small but has been updated nicely, and the living area is perfect for games and family meals. A great place for a family ski vacation.

We (our combined family of six) spent the Thanksgiving Holiday in this condo. The condo was conveniently located near all of Boyne Mountain's amenities (Waterpark, Skiing, Main Lodge, etc) and had the benefit of an open backyard / small sledding hill which the children enjoyed. The condo is incredibly spacious & well maintained and had all of the cooking utensils that you could need. The owner, Steve, was very communicative and easy to deal with. We will return in the future!
Owner's Response: Thank you, glad you enjoyed the condo

We had 4 adults & 4 children on vacation staying at this condo. It was perfect. Very clean. Well stocked with linens & kitchen utensils. The back yard was great for the kids to play soccer & run around. It is a short walk to all amenities at Boyne Mtn resort & a short drive to the beach.
The reason I gave a rating of 4 stars and not 5 is because the queen bed in the front room was very hard & too uncomfortable for even the kids to sleep on.
Otherwise a perfect place to stay!
Dealing with the owner to book the condo was very pleasant & easy. All was done via email.
Owner's Response: Thanks and the queen bed will be adjusted to a comfortable level this month when I remodel both bathrooms.

We stayed at this fabulous condo for a week in August. To begin with, it was super spacious and very clean! It was also very peaceful and quiet. A great place to come home to after a busy day enjoying all Boyne has to offer!

We were just minutes from downtown Boyne City. We enjoyed the restaurants and cute shops, but our kids especially enjoyed the parks and water front!

We also enjoyed our close proximity to the annual Polish Festival. It was a close bike ride away!

Boyne Mountain itself was also an awesome place to be. The restaurants were great. It was nice to just wander down the path to grab a bite! Riding the ski lift was fun too!

The condo is also just an hour from the ferry to Mackinac Island. Definitely a memorable trip.

We will return here for sure. It was honestly perfect for our family!
Owner's Response: Thank you for the review.
