Peaceful Surroundings Only 2 Miles From Center Of Austin.

You will love this house and will want to come back! The owner is a hotel snob and austin aficionado. These combined traits give this guest house an edge above the rest. You will find some very personal touches in this special spot.

Great visit in a charming cottage

We spent almost a week at this wonderful cottage while celebrating the holidays with relatives in the area. It really is a perfect option if you want to be in central Austin. It is also clean and lovingly maintained with great attention to detail. From the comfy bed with super soft sheets to the cable tv, gourmet coffee and twin mattresses for our kids, we really felt relaxed. The owner is eager to help with suggestions of things to do in the area if you inquire. Otherwise, she leaves you to enjoy this peaceful getaway.

Perfect Escape

I stayed here for two months while my house was being remodeled. I loved it! It is convenient to everything, 5 minutes by car to downtown Austin, and you can walk to the hike and bike trail and Ladybird Lake. But even though it is so central, there is no noise other than the birds in the beautiful large trees shading the house.

The bed was blissfully comfortable and the cottage impeccably clean. The morning sun catches the little table outside the front door and it is a lovely spot for breakfast. The owner, Rindi, was a charming, yet unobtrusive, hostess. I often found the newspaper on my doorstep, and her restaurant suggestions were great.

I had plenty of time to become aware of any drawbacks, but I absolutely can think of none! This is a gem of a spot and I was in no hurry to go home.
