What a great stay!

We stayed at this condo for about a week as of the end of April and we enjoyed it a lot! A long flight from Amsterdam, Netherlands, but the trip was well worth it! A very relaxed place just on the beach with comfortable sunbeds. Great to be able to take a dip in the swimmingpool in addition to the sea. Also the outdoor bbq facilities we did enjoy (with a beautiful sunset!). Snorkling with turtles was possible just in front of the apartment as well as whalewatching which was truly awesome! The apartment itself has all necessary facilities including 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies and all home- as well as "fun" equipment was availalbe like snorkling gear and travel information about Maui. We had a very relaxed holiday and I would certainly recommend this place to others.

Well appointed and located condo

Just back to reality in Alberta after 10 glorious days in Maui. Jill, your condo was everything you advertised it to be. My wife, adult daughter and I had a wonderful time. We appreciated your willingness to work with us to facilitate the late check out. With our flight not departing until after 10:30 pm, having access to the condo for the afternoon allowed us to fully enjoy our last day. Rather than repeating many of the positive comments stated in previous reviews, let me simply say that we concur with them. We had an opportunity to speak with Jan and she is as pleasant to deal with as you are Jill. I would not hesitate recommending this condo to other couples or families. The location provides easy access to some of the better beaches on the island, grocery shopping alternatives, Whaler's Village and Front Street for shopping, restaurants and some evening distractions. Thank you. We will be in touch for our next trip to Maui.

Great family vacation

Our family spent 2 weeks at Jill's condo at the end of February. The condo was fully equipped and offered all the comforts of home. We loved the coffee shop across the street and also the pizza place down by the Times market. This condo was in a great location. We loved sitting by the ocean and watching the turtles and whales. Amazing trip and condo!

Great condo in a great location

This condo was affordable, pleasant, and well-located near Lahaina, in a neighborhood with many condo buildings. Paki Maui is one of the smaller condo buildings, so parking near the condo was never a problem. We were directly across the street from great coffee, a natural foods store with some excellent guacamole, a gift shop with many handmade items, snorkeling rentals, and a Monday-Wednesday-Friday farmer's market/craft fair. On the other side of the condo was the ocean; down the highway to the south, large grocery stores and all the charms of Lahaina; to the north, some great snorkeling bays and, for the adventurous (like us), a great drive around the northwest part of the island, which we think may even surpass the Road to Hana in scenery (though it is decidedly scarier and narrower!). Though both were a long-ish drive away, we were able to take trips to Haleakala and Hana on two separate days (and would recommend doing both, including going all the way around the Road to Hana, not turning around at Hana - it is equally beautiful and very different on the southeast side). The condo itself is light and airy; has everything you need to cook your own meals, and lots of beach toys to borrow; and is nicely located at one end of the second floor, so you don't have foot traffic going by your door all the time. Yes, there is traffic noise from the nearby road, and even the surf is rather loud, but we adapted after a night or so and didn't notice it anymore. We had one problem that was very quickly resolved by the property manager, who by her tone and actions conveyed that our comfort was very important to her! The owner was wonderful to deal with in all steps of the renting process, and it almost felt like we were staying in the home of a friend. Coming back to Paki Maui after a long day was great. I would recommend this condo especially for one or two couples, and for families with kids.

clean, well kept condo. All the toys included with the room. owner and manager were helpful when we had questions. close to farmers market and store. Property is on the beach with a small pool and hot tub. enjoyed a walk on the boardwalk both morning and evening. Saw whales from the lawn chairs out front. close to some of the best beaches on Maui. We had a wonderful time and plan to go back.

I liked the layout of the condo it was open and airy. Close to beach, has 2 great lanais, wifi easy, there were plenty of beach supplies. The beds were fairly comfy and the condo place is small so it's easy to get in and out of the car-- not like staying at a big resort. You can get to the beach front boardwalk that is ka'anapali if you head south from condo.
The Mexican place across the street had great fish tacos and was affordable for Maui standards. The market across the street had an awesome salad bar, fruit smoothies and organic groceries, baked goods. Bad ass coffee company has great coffee.
We enjoyed our time there!!

FAMILY FRIENDLY IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT

Our family of 2 adults and 4 children had the time of our lives for a month in this condo!! We are very seasoned travellers, but felt that everything at Paki Maui was just right for us. The unit is very convenient to the parking lot, which is a blessing when hauling groceries and children. Every day since we have been home, we have been dreaming of the Organic Farmers Market and Bass Ass Coffee shop, both located steps from the door. Honokowai Beach Park is the best spot in Maui for the 5 year old and under crowd, it has a great playground and the tidal pools were perfect for our 3 year old to snorkel in! Right off the condo shoreline we saw turtles, stone fish, eels, and other marine life. A couple of blocks away we did a few beach scuba dives that were awsome! The condo unit itself was spacious, clean, and well decorated, including all the comforts of home. If you are traveling with an older crowd, you will love the Java Jazz vibe in walking distance. West Maui is the perfect place to beach hop and skip the huge crowds of other areas. Make sure you travel up to Honolua Bay for the best Maui snorkelling within 10 minutes. In short, we can not wait to return!!!

Great Family Condo

We just returned from 10 days in Maui at Paki Maui #227. This condo had almost everything our family of 4 needed including beach toys, board games and a portable crib. There is a good grocery store one block down and the best fresh fish market accross the street. There is a public park with a small beach next door that was not the best for swimming but due to the rock formation, great for our toddler to splash around in on calm ocean days. The only negative is the condo is close to the main road and the traffic can be a bit loud with all the windows open at night. We thought this condo was a good value and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

My husband & I stayed in your condo with Kathy & Rick the week of Sept. 3rd. I know she already thanked you but I wanted to tell you, also, how much we enjoyed it. It was so perfect for us, definitely quality, but we really enjoyed the new mattresses. At our age, that's important and I wasn't expecting to sleep in such comfort. The condo was beautiful, comfortable, and well-stocked. Thank you for your gracious hospitality!

Maui Charm With Beautiful Sunsets

We had an amazing time in your condo. Thank you very much for making us feel welcomed.
My husband, daughter, son-in-law and I stayed in your beautiful condo. Everything was perfect. We saved alot of money from eating out and barbecued in the gas grills that were located by the pool and at the same time experienced the best sunsets within steps from the ocean. We cooked our hot breakfast in the mornings and enjoyed your cozy balcony. The beds were so comfortable that when we woke up we forgot that we were sleeping elsewhere. It was so convenient having a washer and dryer as well. As far as transportation, it was a smooth ride everywhere we wanted to go, hardly any traffic if you headed North or South to the breathtaking beaches and shops. We even took one whole day and adventured and survived :o) the Road to Hana left by 8:00am and were back by 6:00pm. My daughter and son-in-law even rented bikes and rode to downtown Lahaina from your condo. They also had a blast! It was so convenient not having to take beach towels, snorkel gear and boogie boards. It was so accommodating that we did not want to go home :o(. It felt like home!
Future Renters:
If you are looking for a place that is relaxing, accommodating and meticulous, don't look any further...this is the place to rent for your next get-away :o).
