Orleans is also home to two larger Salt Water beaches both Skaket Beach on Cape Cod Bay and Nauset Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Nauset beach offers beautiful sunrises, excellent Bass and Blues fishing, surfing, sunbathing and swimming in cool ocean waters. Free concerts at the beach Gazebo on both Monday and Thursday nights in July and August.
Skaket Beach is perfect for a romantic sunset walk and photo op. Here you'll find warm water swimming, fine sand beach and the ability to take a long walk on the flats at low tide. Orleans has it all from Beautiful beaches to the Bike Path, Free Cape Cod Baseball league games in the evening at Eldredge Field from the middle of June until the end of August.. You can also find tennis courts and a playground here. Orleans is the largest commercial center on the lower cape for those of you who like to shop. We have boutiques,food markets, art galleries, theaters and candle pin bowling for rainy day fun! Orleans has restaurants galore running the gamut from casual to fine dining.
