A life long goal was to live in a tropical location near a beach. I began visiting Manuel Antonio in 1988 and kept returning year after year. When the opportunity to purchase some land on the last existing ranch in the area presented itself, my decision was easy. Within a year my house was completed, and is the ideal place to relax and experience the surrounding natural beauty. three kinds of monkeys move through property on varying days , and the resident sloth has a new baby. A recent guest identified 42 species of birds on the property and their songs will welcome you to each new day.
The first evening I sat on the terrace and listened to the birds while darkness fell, I felt as home. Now the scent of the Ylang Ylang trees wafts through the house at sunset with a flock of toucans exploring the nearby trees.
Ideally located 1 mile from main road on a gravel road ideal for walking.. 5 minutes up to see the stunning ocean views and have a drink or meal at Ronny's Restaurant. Begin your day
with a tropical morning smoothie while listening to the morning symphony of birds, then head out on a short walk down to Playa Vacas or pristine Playa La Macha beach.
