We listed our first unit on HomeAway for Mardi Gras 2012 and have been enjoying our guests ever since. We live on the premises and take delight in sharing gems of the neighborhood and the city with our guests. It has been such a pleasure to meet so many lovely people!
Our home is an historic camelback shotgun double built in 1861. Somewhere down the line it was converted into a 4 plex but it still retains many of the architectural flourishes that make New Orleans homes so charming. We love this old house and have been slowly renovating it. The neighborhood is perfect for us; we're a block from the streetcar, walking distance to so much and our neighbors are wonderful. We enjoy this property immensely and intend to live here for a very long time.
