This Corona del Mar gem is ideally located at the corner of Ocean Blvd. and Fernleaf Ave. which overlooks one of the most spectacular views in all of Newport Beach, including the Pacific Ocean, entrance to Newport Harbor, and Corona del Mar Beach. On any given day from your spacious rooftop patio, you will see dolphins swimming by, sea lions, and one of the most impressive collections of luxury yachts cruising in and out of Newport Harbor.
The new owner of this home has made it even more beautiful with a completely remodeled first class interior including hardwood floors, granite counter-tops, stainless steel high-end appliances, new flatscreen TV's throughout, wifi, new furnishings, patio furniture, and BBQ. You will undoubtedly have all the comforts of home with beautiful Orange County weather and gorgeous views. You are just a short walk to the Corona del Mar beach as well as the Village with all its charming shops and cafe's. You are also just minutes from Fashion Island, Balboa Island, Crystal Cove State Park, Pelican Hill Resort and Golf Course, Laguna Beach, and the famous ocean beaches on Balboa Peninsula.
The home is currently valued at $2.4 million and features 3 very good sized bedrooms all with their own upgraded bathrooms and there is a new queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room for additional guests. The master bedroom suite has gorgeous views of the Pacific and features a king-sized bed, fireplace, jacuzzi jetted tub, double vanity, and walk-in closet. All the bedrooms are complete with nice linens and bedspreads, the bathrooms include towels, facecloths, and hand towels. You will also have the convenience of beach towels, beach chairs, an umbrella, and an outdoor shower to rinse off all the sand before you come back into the house.
The kitchen features granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, place settings for 8 people and all the cookware you need to prepare your favorite family dishes in the comfort of your new vacation home. We supply toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent (yes, there is a washer and dryer as well), liquid soap, hair dryers, an iron and ironing board, and finally a vacuum cleaner to use as needed. There is a 2 car garage that can fit 2 average-sized sedans or one large SUV. There is also space for parking in the driveway behind the garage. This is a big benefit given the limited parking in Corona del Mar during the busy summer months.
My favorite part of this vacation home is the spacious rooftop deck that features brand new upscale patio furniture that you can relax in while you enjoy a glass of Chardonnay or Merlot watching the luxury yachts cruise by. If you stay there long enough you will surely see a dolphin or two, you will definitely hear the sea lions barking off in the distance hanging on to the buoy, and a local pastime is watching the pelicans diving for fish nearby. I would time all of this just before sunset so you can take in the beautiful skies at the sun sets behind Catalina Island off in the distance!
