Thank you for your interest in our little 'Cottage on the Canal'. This newly renovated end to end and top to bottom will make you feel right at home. Park in your private drive, grab a drink, relax and cast a line for your dinner from your 200 ft of seawall as you watch the sun go down. OR bring your boat and venture (5min) into beautiful Charlotte Harbor and beyond!

This rental is conventiently located between the airports of Sarasota and Fort Myers.

Within a few miles, relax on pristine beaches at Englewood and Historic Boca Grand. Enjoy the calm blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, where shelling and collecting sharks' teeth is a popular pastime. Plenty of water activities are available; from renting Sea-Do's to fishing charters and World renowned Tarpon fishing and tournament. Additionally, in the backwaters you can fish for snook, redfish or how about a shark.

Other activities include: shopping, golfing (even a lighted course) and plenty of fine dining. For the sports fan, visit Charlotte Co. Stadium, (home of the Tampa Bay Rays and Stone Crabs), to take in a baseball game.

In two hours you could visit Disney World, Sea World, Busch Gardens and more. If you care to go a little farther, head south to Key West, the farthest point south in the U.S.

Our 'Cottage' is fully furnished with a queen bed and two twins (can be put together to make a king). New kitchen with everything you need to prepare a delicious meal for two or a gang. The open floor plan allows pleanty of conversation while you cook. The Florida room has ample seating for guests, DISH, HDTV , Wireless internet and a view of the canal.

We love the relaxed atmosphere of El Jobean, When we aren't teaching or remodeling, we love to sail. We never tire of the beauty of the area.

Why The Owner chose El Jobean

We were looking for a home for our sailboat, where we could walk out of our house and get on our boat. We fell in love with one of the last pieces of ' OLD FLORIDA' Yet we are close driving distance to entertainment, cultural events, fine dining, and nature.

What makes this mobile home unique

Grab a cup of coffee in the morning and sit by the water to watch the sun come up over the wildlife and bird sanctuary. Grab a pole and fish the day away or get in the car and explore florida, something to see in all directions.

A quiet peaceful setting. Imagine waking up in the morning and drinking your coffee outside and watching the wildlife and the fish jumping in the canal as you start your day, it doesn't get any better than this. This cottage offers all the comforts of home. Tastefully decorated, very comfortable, very clean, quiet neighborhood and close to shopping and dining. For those who want to cook at home this home offers everything you need. The owners are very helpful in answering any questions you may have. If your in the mood for good Italian food go to Visani's and also take in the comedy if they have comedians that night, you won't be disappointed. I would highly reccommend this place to my family and friends and will definately rent this cottage again.
