Good but...

I stayed here with my family for almost a week and the condo has all the basics and is in a great location. It needs a little bit of maintenance in my opinion, but really nothing major. The staff was nice, although we had reserved a crib and once we arrived we had to request it 5 times in order to have it delivered to our apartment. The view is gorgeous and you are only half block from Brickell ave. The apartment manager responded to all my inquiries over e-mail pretty fast, so that was one of the reasons I chose this place over other similar ones, but unfortunately we had 2 issues:
1. Once we arrived we were told that the swimming pool was not working and it was still not fixed when we left. When we told the apartment manager first reaction was sorry but it's not our fault, second reaction he offered we could cancel the stay and look for another place, which is really unrealistic. Once you're there you're not going to waste vacation time trying to find a last minute place. After some arguing and bad face and attitude of his wife we got a discount. But in my opinion anyone working in customer service should know how to handle this kind of situation better. With the discount we were able to pay for the use of the swimming pool a couple of days at another hotel.
2. Once we did the checkout we were charged with parking even though the apartment manager had confirmed that it was included in the rent. Since we had had already the first argument and my parents were on their way to the airport, my dad just paid it, since he didn't want to deal again with the manager and go through another argument.
In summary the place is good and nice location. If it wasn't for those two issues this would have gotten 5 stars. I was tempted in giving 3 stars, but given that the manager did a good job communicating before we had the swimming pool argument I chose to rate 4.
Btw, we asked for a receipt since we paid in cash and didn't get one. The manager told us he would e-mail one, but that didn't happen. Was kind of scary since there was no proof we had paid but fortunately everything was fine :)
