We are actually still here as part of a 2-week stay.It's amazing where the days have gone and we haven't even gotten around to golfing, driving to the volcano or further north than Waikoloa. We are so fortunate to have figuring out where to go for dinner as our biggest problem!
The condo has been great.......we are only 2 people so haven't even used the guest bedroom except for the closet and have hardly ventured up to the loft. Having his and hers bathrooms has been nice. It's very comfortable since things are new and everything feels fresh and clean which is a must for me (a neatnik). A good mattress is also important and this one is. The lanai (maybe called a deck if it's upstairs?) is very generous and we have eaten our at-home meals out at the high-top. The furniture outside is every bit as comfy as in. The only problem has been noise coming from a remodel just below and to the left and workers replacing the fence around the pool. We have gotten used to the traffic noise from the road but if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs since the birds are earlier risers than I wish. At least their noise is cheerful! Those are really the only negatives and they are minor.
We hope that future renters use the condo with care so that if we ever come back, it will be just as nice (I'm sure the owners would appreciate it being in good shape for their stays).Maybe I will have more to write later but I have the time to make some comments just now. Oh yes, and the owners have both written out their suggestions for where to go, eat, see, swim, etc.

What a beautiful home!

My family and I were so pleased with this beautiful condo to stay in during our trip to Kona for a family reunion. Seeing the condo in person is even better than the pictures! The home is clean, very well-maintained, inviting and comfortable. The location was perfect, with Keauhou Bay just a few blocks down the hill.
Wayne, the owner, is so gracious and accommodating and it was a pleasure to correspond with him.
I would definitely recommend this condo to everyone I know and I hope to have the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home again when I return to Kona.

Our group of 3 adults and 2 teens stayed in this beautifully renovated condo for 1 week in March. The condo was a perfect layout for our combination of adults/teens, especially considering that the spacious loft has its own bathroom. The views from the kitchen and lanai are spectacular. The condo's central location makes it a great place from which to explore the whole island....also great that grocery store and fantastic snorkeling are just minutes away.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE

My daughter and I have a long history of renting condo's in Hawaii and I can assure you we have never had such an elegant and warm place. The condo was beautifully decorated and equiped. The grounds and pool are nicely maintained and the other residents are very cordial. We were there for a month and never lacked for anything we needed. I highly recomend this unit.

Great Place for Relaxation

I stayed here for about 1 month, one of the best locations in the Kailua Kona area on the very end of Alii Drive. You should plan on having a car for the Big Island, but this unit is only a few meters from the bus route to downtown Kona. Within a 15 minute walk to Keahou shopping center. Excellent remodel brings this unit up to modern standards. The view is exceptional, highly recommended for any group up to six. The complex has nice ammenities including a pool.
