We LOVED this condo! We had never been to Bonaire before and we lucked out when we decided to stay here in VRBO #349300. The views from the enormous balcony were too beautiful to describe, including the sparkling see-through aqua waters and brightly-colored boats and sailboats, watching cruise ships come in, the view to downtown Krajlendik, and the awesome sunsets. It is easy walking distance to downtown for meals or shopping (approx. 1/2 mile). The elevator lands you at the private entrance inside the condo. The condo is spacious and very nice. The pictures are accurate, but the mosquito nets are no longer on the beds (we didn't have any mosquito issues). The beds were comfortable for sleeping. There is a small safe in the master bedroom. The wireless internet worked very well. The condo has a washing machine, but clothing must be dried on a foldable rack on the balcony (common for Bonaire). The balcony has a table and chairs for dining, wicker chairs and loveseats, and two reclining chaise lounges. We loved the weather and sunshine, and spent most of our "home" time on the balcony. We learned that the owner had recently purchased the condo and hadn't even been there yet. They were going in after us and would be replacing things, so no need to mention our minor negatives. The owner was responsive and great to work with, and the property manager was very friendly and helpful. It should be noted that only the bedrooms are air conditioned. The reef in front is called "Something Special". We do not dive but snorkeled many spots on the island. The reef in front was great for snorkeling, convenient, easy in and out of the water, and we saw many beautiful fish, eels, and even an octopus. This condo is great for up to 3 couples to share. Bonaire was one of the most relaxing vacations we've had in years (no golf courses on the island so my husband had to relax), but don't think there isn't a lot to do on this island. We also spent a very fun day at Lac Bay. Prepare yourself for the goat or iguana stew at Rose Inn! The islanders are very friendly. Bonaire is a well-kept secret and we hope we can go back again very soon!
