Jane's Place is a 'full size' cape, nestled in a beautiful 5+ acre wooded setting. Two first floor bedrooms accommodate a Queen and King size bed. Spacious loft has two Twins, one Queen, one Full and Full size futon. First floor bath has tub/shower. Fully equiped kitchen with dishwasher, coffee pot, microwave and more. Kitchen table seats 6. Spacious living room with Direct TV. Telephone with long distance with in the USA. Games, cards and star gazing. Walk in basement with dryer. Charcoal grill and tons of parking for both vehicles and trailers.

Snowmobile / ATV trail starts at the end of the driveway! Private 'Trophy Strech' fly fishing along Perry Stream. Lake Francis is just one mile down the road. Minutes from Youngs General Store for food, beverage and gas. Moose Ally is just up the road for viewing some of the finest Northern critters!

About Brandee Wilson

Jane's Place was built in honor of my Mom. She loved the North Woods in Pittsburg and all it has to offer. I left a lot of trees on the property to offer privacy. Jane's Place is perfect for making memories of good times, lots of smiles and tons of S'mores!

After some searching online and through local snowmobile club websites, we came upon Janes Place. It suited us perfectly as it was off the main drag, and was less crowded then your typical rental cabins. This cabin felt like home! There were 7-8 of us that stayed a total of 3 nights/4 days. There was plenty of room and had everything we would need to make our stay great. Brandee was very helpful and emailed/called updating us on everything including road conditions. Granted it was raining not snowing when we got there but we were all still able to go riding! This cabin is situated perfectly on the trails as you can ride from the doorstep to anywhere in and around Pittsburg. Easy access to gas, food, and all points north-south for riding. Will def come back and stay again! Thanks again for a great home and the ease of renting! PERFECT!

Stayed here last year for a snowmobile trip. Perfect location right near the trails and close to Youngs store. Very convenient location for snowmobilers. It's clean, quant and just how you would picture a log cabin. Has all the amenities anyone needs. Great place for relaxing and hanging out with friends in the beautiful outdoors. Brandee was great to deal with. Always returned our calls right away, and was very helpful with any questions we had. We booked again for this year and can't wait to go back!

Great Hunting Trip!

Every year I put on a hunting trip in the great north woods for several friends, and this year I had to find a new cabin to rent. I just happend upon Jane's Place, and I'm very glad I did. Brandee is great and very easy to rent from. She really cares that her renters have an exceptional time, and have everything they need. We had an absolutely great time! I couldn't find a thing wrong with the cabin, it was very well kept, and had everything we needed for our trip. We had 7 adults on the trip with all of our gear, and were plenty comfortable. There was more than enough room, and the sleeping arrangements were great. It is a beautiful location and very easy to find. It is quiet and still near to anything you need in town. I highly reccomend this cabin to any group of hunters looking for comfortable and affordable cabins in Pittsburg. I have stayed at several other cabins over the years and this one was by far the best one yet. We already can't wait until next year! For the price, you can't find anything comprable in Pittsburg.

Jane's Place-The Perfect Vacation Location

I spent a fabulous vacation this summer at Jane’s Place. The first thing that caught my eye was how clean and well maintained the home is. The place has plenty of room and great sleeping arrangements as well as a full bath and full kitchen to give you all the comforts of home. Jane’s Place is nestled in a privately wooded lot with access to Perry Stream. My kids loved swimming and playing in the stream. Lake Francis is just a mile down River Rd, a perfect place for kayaks and lots more swimming for the kids. Right at the lake’s edge were picnic tables as well as a dock for the kids to jump from. We also ventured to Moose Alley where we saw the ”Monster House.” A fun sighting that lead to lots of campfire stories that evening. Along Moose Alley we also found the BEST ice cream in the Great North Woods. The place was packed but well worth the wait.
Jane’s place is the perfect vacation destination. There is plenty to do while also enjoying a quiet relaxing stay away from home. I highly recommend Jane’s Place and am glad to see it on HomeAway so everyone has a chance to vacation at the Perfect Pittsburg Vacation Location. I’ll be booking another stay for sure. Maybe my next stay will be during the winter so I can enjoy another wonderful season that Jane’s Place offers. I noticed the snowmobile trails run right past the end of the driveway!
