Kitchen is equipped. Guests should bring foodstuffs other than coffee/tea/sweeteners/creamer, salt&pepper, olive oil, vinegar.

The Garden of ideas is a ornamental stroll garden and farm. You can relax in the gardens, utilize our plant library to learn about vegetables or ornamental plants, birdwatch (wood ducks, great blue herons, kingfishers, yellow warblers, baltimore orioles and more). Your kids can play in the sandbox while you chat with the locals. On lovely weather days -- especially on weekends--there may be other unobtrusive visitors to the grounds; this is not a destination with total seclusion.
Cook for yourself using some of our local produce (available seasonally) or dine at one of many great local restaurants.
A car is useful to travel three miles to village. If you don't plan to leave the property, it's possible to get here by train/taxi (ask us how).
