Amazing Place!!!

Spent a nice, long weekend here and absolutely loved it! What an amazing place! Perfect location, beautiful neighborhood, easy access to everything, etc. I would stay here again anytime!!!!! The only negative thing I could say about it is the not so nice neighbor below us. Otherwise, it was a fabulous stay!
Owner's Response: Thank you so much! I am so glad that you loved everything about the condo that we do! Between the beautiful indoors, the front porch, the neighborhood, the park, the nearby restaurants we just love it!

In the South we take pride in our Southern friendliness and neighborliness, and I'm am so sorry that you didn't experience that from one of the neighbors! Again though, I'm glad you had a great time, thanks for coming and for being such great guests!

Sincerely,
Adrienne

Review of Accommodations

Pleasant quiet neighbourhood, one block from the nearest St Charles streetcar stop, and about half an hour or so by streetcar from the French Quarter, this was a good place to stay. Two big bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, large lounge, dining room, clothes washing. Restaurants a few blocks away on Maple Street, with Audubon Park, Tulane and Loyola Universities close by. Better than "yet another hotel room" if you are a family or small group and don't need to be staying right in the business area or the French Quarter. Like home away from home.

Wonderful stay during Mardi Gras!

Submitted: February 21, 2013 Stayed: February 2013
We booked this condo for Mardi Gras weekend. The location was perfect for us as we desired a place that was easily accessible for the parades but away from all the hustle and bustle. We just walked about 2 blocks to catch the street car down to Napoleon. Parking near the condo was also a breeze and we had 3 cars in our party of 6.

The owner was awesome to work with in securing our reservation!!! She was very accommodating and easy to reach when we had questions. The condo was very clean and we loved how large and open the rooms were. Also, the beds were super comfortable so every night was restful and quiet. The neighbors are also very quiet and respectful.

On our last day, we were informed by the neighbors below that the shower was leaking into their unit. The owners responded immediately to the situation (which turned out to be no big deal). It didn't rain on our parade....we had an absolute blast and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We would definitely book a stay here again! Thanks again!!!

We loved our stay in New Orleans. Everything was lovely. We loved your accomodations - they were spacious, clean, comfortable and homey. We only have positives to say about the space, the location and New Orleans. We saw so much, ate too much, laughed a lot, and you even gave us gorgeous weather. Thank you. Terrific.

Good Location!

Submitted: January 11, 2013 Stayed: January 2013
Positives:
1. As advertised, this unit is located about a block from the nearest streetcar line. Since we didn't have a car, this location worked well for us to get in towards the French Quarter or walk to Audubon Park and see all the attractions.

2. The unit itself was very clean and all the fixtures worked well. The area with the couches was street facing and had brick walls. It was cooler weather during our visit (40's-50's), but this room had its own heater and a few blankets to make it a nice and cozy TV room.

3. Fully stocked kitchen and dinning room make it easy to serve and enjoy our beignets in the mornings. If we had stayed longer it would have been nice to be able to good meals and save on going out.

4. Two full bathrooms was a huge plus!

A few drawbacks:

1. The internet was very slow, almost unusable. Not a huge concern, as everybody had smartphone. 3g coverage was good.

2. The water heater did not produce enough hot water for two showers in close succession. But the overhead fans produces enough to keep the bathrooms a comfortable temperature

3. This unit is located on the 1st floor, with other units directly above and below. The neighbors tended to be loud in the mornings. Between children running, dogs barking, and vacuums running 2 of the 3 mornings, it was difficult to sleep in past 8 or 9am (or 6am in the case of the running children).

Overall, I would probably stay in this unit again if I were to return to New Orleans. I would recommend this unit to a friend. Owners were very nice, very understanding, and able to work with you.
Owner's Response: Hi Glenn,

Thank you so much for your compliments! We pride ourselves in our wonderful condo, and with providing you with the utmost in comfort for your stay. Thank you also for letting us know what kept us from getting that fifth star!

Please note how we have addresed your concerns since your review:
1. Our high speed wireless Internet was tested to have a web page load speed of 3 seconds. I can verify this as I am using it now. My only guess is that you guys accessed a neighbor's connection, which does include the word "guest" in it's name, instead of ours. I can see how this can be confusing, and so I have more prominently posted the name of our Wi-Fi connection to prevent this from occurring again. I will also change the name of the connection to reflect the name of our condo to further prevent confusion.

2. The ability to provide hot showers was tested to provide 43 minutes of hot shower. Although the building is large, the condo does actually have its own hot water heater, and hot water is not unlimited, as in a hotel. The hot water tank is a large, full-sized tank.

3. I have discussed your comments with the small family above the condo. They have acknowledged your comments, and as they have not been previously aware of such an issue, they have agreed to be more conscientious of their little girl's steps, and of the time that they vacuum. I have even asked the neighborhood dog to be more respectful, and he agreed!

Once again, I greatly appreciate your tips on how to make a stay at our condo even better for our guests!

Sincerely,
Adrienne

What a joy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 625 Pine, unit 5. It was spacious and comfortable offering privacy, yet with a large dining and living room area which made visiting with family a treat. A very genteel Louisiana woman came over to visit and said, "We could live here." Our children who had flown in enjoyed the ease and independence that the nearby streetcar offered. Adrienne, the owner, was wonderfully gracious, helpful, and prompt in responding to all inquiries. In all, we couldn't have asked for a better experience! B

Made a great impression on my Chinese guests!

Submitted: December 10, 2012 Stayed: November 2012
I rented this apartment for a Chinese business associate's 3-day stay. He, his wife and adult son were very impressed.

This is a very charming and comfortable alternative to a hotel room, especially for travelers tiring of hotels (even 4&5-star hotels!) It's close enough to the central business district for quick commute, yet far enough for quiet relaxation.

A very short walk to St. Charles gets you on the street car, and from there you're all the way to Canal.

My wife and I are now planning to take the grandchildren for a weekend stay. It's walking distance to the Audubon Zoo and the kids will enjoy the streetcar ride to the French Quarter and Riverwalk.
