Wonderful vacation in a beautiful home!!

We found the Quiet Cottage through the Home Away website. The property was beautiful and extremely clean. The bedrooms were all spacious and bathrooms were adequate to accommodate numerous families to stay under the same roof without feeling cramped. The washer/dryer was a welcome touch that allowed us to have clean towels daily. We did not get to utilize the grill but it was large enough for a great family BBQ. The L shaped leather couch in the vaulted family room was soft and comfy while we watched TV on the big LCD at night. The dining room table was great for sitting as a group and eating our meals. The distance from the Branson Strip is exactly as advertised and was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the downtown traffic. The day that we went to SDC we took the back route over the dam, very nice drive! We took the advice from the sign in book in the house and ate our Sunday brunch at the Keeter Center, WOW what a meal!!
The owners provided excellent communication throughout the entire process and were more than helpful. They do require the "tenants" to do a departure check and to put some items in the wash but it was not a problem and shouldn't be an issue (locking doors, turning the thermostat down, etc.). The master bedroom that has a King has a private attached bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower, a recommendation of a sliding pocket door here would be nice but does not take away from the house.
We would return to the Quiet Cottage and intend to during the summer, this place is a must!!

The house was wonderful and the pool was great too. We had a perfect vacation with our other 55 relatives that rented houses also in Branson canyon.

Hassle Free...I had no troubles with renting this home. The renters were very patient and helpful. The location is ideal for families on the go. We were within 15 to 20 minutes to the parks, shopping, and the lake. The home was really clean and had towels, pots, pans, plates, toilet paper, etc. The beds were comfortable, nice TV, WIFI, comfortable seating for hanging out with the family. Will definitely stay there again!

My family of 6, along with my parents, stayed at the Quiet Cottage for a basketball tournament. We found the house to be perfect in every way. It is very clean, spacious, and provides plenty of room for a large family to spread out. The XBox and satellite TV were a hit with the kids! I would definitely recommend this vacation rental.

Girls-Only Weekend

I rented this home for a girls-only weekend and it was perfect. There was enough bedrooms and bathrooms for six women, and an open kitchen, dining room and living room where we could gather. The home was clean and the picutres are accurate. Also, the owners (Don and Judi) were very professional during the entire process. I would stay here again if coming to the area.

This is the 3rd time we (my wife and I) have taken a trip to Branson with our 3 married daughters, daughter-in-law and two teenage grandaughters. We love it! A time just with our girls. We shop, play and pray. All of us are followers of Jesus Christ and we so much love our time together and away from our busy lives. The "Quite Cottage" was thus far our favoirte place to stay. The ownership was so easy to work with and were more than willing to help any of our needs. Thanks again.

Great for family gathering

This was the perfect property for my family to gather to celebrate my parent's 50th anniversary. The 9 of us had plenty of room and were very comfortable. The home is beautifully decorated and very well maintained. Our kids loved the neighborhood pool on the hot Branson days. We would definitely recommend this home.

Wonderful Weekend!

This was the perfect place for us for the weekend of Aug. 25-28--the weekend our daughter got married at nearby Integrity Hills. We like quiet, peaceful settings w/ trees, hills, water, etc. and Branson Canyon and the Quiet Cottage has it all, plus much more! The house was beautiful! It had everything we needed. We were especially happy with the bedrooms: enough for us, the bridesmaid, & my sister; very comfortable beds; TV's; and beautifully decorated. It's also close enough to grocery stores & Branson to run errands and to do things, but still "away from it all."
The owners were so very helpful & kind & answered my questions quickly & nicely. (Barb was the one I had more contact with--she was wonderful!) They are also good Christian people, which made us feel so much at home there. In spite of the crazy, busyness of getting ready for a wedding & for a reception, I felt like I was on vacation.
We also appreciated Barb being our "sponsor" in renting the Clubhouse for the reception. It was beautiful there, too!
Thank you! If we are ever back in the Branson area, we will definitely stay here.

Owner's Response: What a "perfect" family to reserve Quiet Cottage plus the Branson Canyon Clubhouse for their daughter's wedding reception. This was a "first" for a wedding reception held in the Clubhouse. How cool is that?? Working together with Penny and our Branson Canyon Clubhouse Mgr proved to be an easy task that helped to create a very successful event.
Penny was absolutely a "BLESSING" in every sense of the word. We can only hope that all our guests enjoy their stay at Quiet Cottage as much this family. We definitely look forward to hearing from them again.
