A Peaceful Retreat

From the moment we arrived at this beautiful little cottage, we knew we had made the right choice. The cottage is even more delightful than the pictures! We had a very late arrival, which was graciously accommodated, and there were even tasty treats ready for us when we got there. The entire unit, including outside, were impeccably clean, and there was an abundance of toiletries available, should we have forgotten anything. While our visit to Napa was not for vacation purposes ( we were there to see my brother who recently had surgery for throat cancer), this lovely little home was such a blessing. My brother could only tolerate short visits, so this retreat provided a comfy place for the rest of the family to gather and regroup. We spent time around the outdoor firepit, discussing plans for my brother's care and sharing memories.
The area is gorgeous, and very conveniently located, with so many places to see. St Helena and Yountville are worth seeing, being only about 20 min away, and downtown Napa along the river has some lovely shops and restaurants. San Francisco and Sacramento are approx 11/2 hr drive, as well as Bodega Bay. This home is located at the bottom of a very interesting street with both residential homes and several vineyards that are very much worth the climb up the steep hill to see. No gym needed - and the view of the wine country is picturesque at the top.
There are too many special little appointments to mention, but suffice it to say, you will NOT be disappointed if you choose this unit - it is well worth the very reasonable price.

A delightful place to stay

My husband and I spent 3 days in this delightful house - a real home from home. It was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The photos give a very good idea of the property. We loved having breakfast 'up on the rocks'- a little table set a bit above the lawn, having drinks with family by candle light on the patio behind billowing curtains and putting our feet up round the firepit. A peaceful place yet also very convenient for visiting down town Napa and for travelling north up the valley on the silverado trail. The owner of the property could not have been more helpful,

Perfect Napa get away ...

The house was exactly as pictured w/many excellent amenities. Everything we needed (and more) was available which added to our comfort. It was very apparent that the owners take excellent care of the property. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely home to my friends and do intend to visit again during the spring/summer so that we could use the beautiful backyard to the fullest. One of the most comfortable homes I've ever rented.

We loved our weekend getaway in this beautiful rental home! The home was perfect, sparkling clean, fresh smelling and just as described. It has been completely updated with a new bathroom, flooring, appliances, central heating, beautiful decor, etc and you can just see that the owners put a lot of time and effort into making this vacation home a little sanctuary away from crazy everyday life. The beds and linens were so comfortable and made it hard to get out of bed in the morning. We went during the winter when it was very cold outside but when you walk into the house it was warm and toasty, plus they had a remote control fireplace! I can only imagine how fabulous this place would be during the warmer months where we would be able to enjoy the beautiful backyard!! It's also located just a short drive away from wherever you want to go! We highly recommend this to anyone wants to get away, relax, and enjoy something beautiful. Love this place!

Wonderful Getaway!

This is a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy wine country! The property is immaculate and tucked away on a peaceful street close to the desires of Napa. My wife and I appreciated the household amenities and owner friendliness. If you would really like to explore Napa, without the notion of having to drive home after a day trip, I fully endorse! We can't wait to go back!

Just a little slice of Heaven

The property is truly a haven. It is located in a great neighbor, yet close to shops and restaurants. You need bring nothing to this home away from home. From the fully stocked kitchen, to the bath products, the hi-thread sheet count and a wonderful back yard--You cannot help but relax and enjoy. Barbeque in the backyard with a glass of wine or watch TV by the fireplace with a glass of wine :) You will enjoy!

Perfect home away from home!

We arrived to find this charming home with its cleam nicely decorated rooms. Close to everything and just perfect! The yard was very well mantained and the owner left brochures of his favorite resturants which we tried and loved! We will come back to this little home away from home again and again! Some placed are dissappointing when you see the real place but this place was just as pictured,everything clean,tidy and well just perfect!

Our stay at this charming cottage in Napa was wonderful! Perfect for a family of 4 or 2 couples. The tranquil and peaceful setting in the backyard was perfect to relax and open a bottle of wine from one of the wineries that we had tasted that afternoon. A perfect getaway!

My friends and I adored this charming house! We didn't want to leave. As many great places there are in Napa to dine, our favorite night was getting take out and sitting outside in the fantastic courtyard drinking wine and listening to music. The house is remodeled and has everything you are looking for! The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is stocked and the living room is cozy! We can't wait to plan our next Napa weekend and stay at this cottage on the Silverado Trail!

Location! Location! Location! This lovely property is conveniently located within minutes of world class wineries located on the Silvado Trail as well as close to downtown Napa Valley, Napa Velley outlet shops, Calistoga spas and grocery stores. In addition, you will find yourself surrounded by Michelin star rated fine dining restaurants such as French Laundry, LA Toque, Napa Valley Wine Train, SolBar, and La Travigne. The home itself is cozy and comfortable. Contains all of the modern amenities and more. The formal dining room is beautiful and the backyard is large enough to host a backyard BBQ or party. The bedrooms are appropriately sized and the beds are comfortable. After spending a weekend here, you Will want to stay even longer!
