Best Vacation Ever!

We had the most wonderful vacation at Villa Elnido and we can't wait to go back. We loved the way all the ground floor rooms opened out to the pool. Our holiday goal was to relax, enjoy the fantastic climate and eat great Mexican food. The staff at the villa were great. They supplied us with clean linens and towels on request and served our chilled wine and appetizers perfectly. Next day the place was immaculate again - dishes and glasses away, floors and patio spotless - nothing was too much trouble. One day we requested they make us a traditional guacamole and it was very tasty. We were in and out of the pool all day except when we visited the town of Vallarta.

The restaurant we enjoyed most in this pretty Mexican town was the Ocean Grill- stunningly beautiful and great food. The best view to be had was looking out over the bay while sitting on the throne!!! Loved the grilled octopus... so tender and the wife had the 'Catch of the Day' Butterfish.

Could go on and on with superlatives here but -trust me- it's a wondrous vacation spot

Unbelievable vacation at Villa Elnido!

We had the most unbelievable vacation at Villa Elnido in December - thank you to a great team for making our stay as easy, comfortable and memorable as you did.
From the excellent welcome cocktails, salsa and guacamole, to the comfort of the beds, to the quality of linens, to the fresh flower arrangements and just every detail to our daily needs, your team made this one of the best vacations we have ever had. Thank you Angela and Elba for all the advise and tips you gave us which made our days in Puerto Vallarta so well spent. We cooked at home just 3 of the nights (the kitchen is well placed in the house and had everything we needed) and the other evenings were spent trying local restaurants nearby. We spent two whole days sight seeing in PV which we found extremely clean and friendly. The art galleries were a wonderful surprise and we came home with some great pieces of artwork. Having the five star hotel just a short walk away, we were able to enjoy the spa, the beach and their fine dining restaurant! With all there is to do and see in PV, we will be back soon. We will never forget those sunsets! And we will tell our friends about the wonderful find.

DELIGHTFUL!!!

Six of us, (three fun couples) returned from spending a week in this remarkable private home. From the moment we entered through the gates we knew we were in for a treat. The casa and property are beautiful. Within a few hours we settled into the most relaxing vacation any of us have previously experienced. The staff greeted us warmly and had prepared margaritas, salsa, chips and guacamole all to help us acclimate to true Mexican hospitality. The casa has every amenity. It is a spacious home and opens to magnificent views of the ocean, Sierra Madre mountains and a beautifully manicured lawn. We all found favorite spots for quiet privacy whether in the hammock, on one of the four balconies or lounging in the pool. Our most difficult decisions were whether to walk to the beach, take advantage of the many activities in Vallarta or to simply relax in our amazing surroundings. Aided by our capable concierge Elba, we did venture out. We had rented a car but found that to be optional because taxi and bus service are readily available and reliable. We tried several of the recommended restaurants enjoying each. Our favorite was La Palapa which is right on Los Muertos beach in Old Town.We loved walking the Malecon with its art, live entertainment,and people watching. Of course we did a little shopping which was fun and easy because almost everyone spoke Espanol and English. Each day we tried to return to El Nido in time to gather on the patio to watch the magnificent sunsets.By weeks end we realized we had so much more to see and experience, none of us wanted to leave. We are each planning to return to El Nido with family and maybe a couples reunion too!
