Private, fully furnished, clean and unique accommodations. Enjoy the newly remodeled, comfortable, away-from-it all atmosphere.

CRANES have been sighted - soon the Valley will be filled with the sound of the beautiful sounds of spring mating birds.

There are two units that can be rented separately or can be combined as one unit with a small entry way between them for sleeping a total of 10. Because we sometimes rent one of the two units separately, we do not post our rentals on the calendar unless both are rented. Please inquire by email or phone to see if we have an opening.

We have stayed at Bear Valley Outdoor Inn 4 times and it gets better everytime. Bill and Dawn have gone way out of their way to decorate the lodging in a unique rustic wildlife decor. You will not believe the painstaking attention and unique ideas to make it truly an "outdoor inn." You cannot beat this little bit of heaven for the price and the ambiance. The scenery is awesome and Bill and Dawn are a wealth of information about activities and attractions, yet provide you with all the privacy you need.. A truly unique getway, I highly recommend the Bear Valley Outdoor Inn.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

I've been to the area for several years now to do some hunting (and there's some great trout opportunities in the area too) and stayed with Bill this year. Accommodations are very nice with a rustic/wildlife decor (perfect) ... it's a quiet and beautiful spot, which is the main attraction; hills, valleys, plenty of wildlife to view and friendly folks; with many tourist attractions nearby too. (Remember to be prepared to wave and smile to folks as pass on the road - they still do that here.) The attraction for many is the lack of computer and cell phone access ... a get-away! If you must - you can always drive a couple miles to the top of a hill and that "smart" phone will start making noise :)

My partner and I had a wonderful time staying at the Inn. Quiet, remote, but still close to many local tourist attractions. The owner, Bill, is great and made us feel welcome. The facilities are clean, updated, and well-tended - at a great price too! If you are looking for a relaxing place to unplug, you should certainly stay here. We definitely plan on visiting again soon!

Secluded Oasis in a Beautiful Setting

I had decided to stay at the Bear Valley Outdoor Inn because I sincerely needed some down time with no access to the outside world and this place completely delivered. Bill was an incredibly gracious host who remained "invisible" during my stay, aside from introducing himself and delivering some fresh organic eggs to my door the first morning. If you are looking for an incredibly quiet and serene outdoor oasis, this is definitely a place to visit. I was lucky enough that the 2 rentals were not reserved, so I was able to pick the place I wanted upon arrival. This is truly a first class rental property!

Stayed two nights @ the Pine unit with my family. The rooms were comfortable and we had just enough beds for everyone in our party. The kitchen was useful, but I would recommend adding cookie sheets to the kitchen tools. We were surprised that the bathroom had a heated floor, which is nice after a shower! Note that the ceiling in the shower is very low(my husband is 5'10, and had to duck down to was under the shower head) and is much more suited for bathers.
It is a rustic location, so our cell phones didn't work, which might be an issue if you use your phone as a contact for family. I do recommend that a landline be included in case an emergency arrises and the owners are not at home.
It is in a quiet area, that is in driving distance to some great outdoor activities. We enjoyed both Cascade mtn and The Dells. We really enjoyed our stay, and it was a good excuse for everyone to be off their phones and reconnect as a family.
