We had a great time with our three adult children and their kids. It was great to get together at one location since everyone is scattered across the country. Ann was great and prompt with communication. If you are going during the winter months the pool heat is worth it..! Thanks again

Disappointed!

We have rented vacation homes in Orlando before and thoroughly enjoyed them. My expectations when we arrived were to find a clean usable house. Because of the issues below we moved to a hotel and later that night got an email from the owner that indicated I needed to LOWER my expectations.
This house had the following issues.
? Pool was dirty and not heated (which we paid extra for)
? Hot tub did not work
? Several screens around the lanai were torn which I am guessing is where the dead bugs on the pool surround came from.
? Refrigerator, freezer and ice maker were not working properly. (The freezer side did keep the food we brought cold)
? There were some tiny little ants around the kitchen faucet.
? Of the seven bathrooms only three had toilet paper. (There were two extra left in the kitchen. I just didn’t know that was a supply I should have brought with us)
? House sleeps 18 and there were 10 bath and 5 hand towels and 5 wash clothes.
? One of the upstairs bedrooms had such a bad smell that we could not use it.
The management company said we had to talk to the owner about moving to another house. The owner said that management would come and fix everything. They came and could give us supplies but because it was about 8:00 pm it would be the next day before the other issues could be looked at. Since we were only staying four days we felt this was not acceptable. I tried the owner back several times and they didn’t pick up.
These owners do not accept credit cards. You would need to send the payment by PayPal or check which leaves you with no recourse if there is a problem when you arrive.
The house size is very choppy especially to hold 18. To make the 7th bedroom they moved the dining room table into the family room, making it crowded and put up a wall between the front room and dining room. The thermostat was locked so you could not set it below 750.

Owner's Response: We understand people have different standards and perspectives when it comes to how you look at things, some positively, some negatively. It's odd to us that such a review is posted SIX MONTHS after the rental, not to mention whether those items are objective and truthful or not. We feel it's pointless to spend time arguing and defending on something happened way in the past. It's much more worthwhile looking forward, not backward.
What we can say is in the past six months, many things have changed, home improvements taken place; new appliances replaced; and the house is now under a new management team! We have had numerous happy and appreciative guests. Our other guests' very positive feedback and comments on this site from 6 months ago up until now are a good proof of that! We hope people in this world are happier and more appreciative, which will make everyone's life easier and more enjoyable!
What we can say is in the past six months, many things have changed, home improvements taken place; new appliances replaced; and the house is now under a new management team! We have had numerous happy and appreciative guests. Our other guests' very positive feedback and comments on this site from 6 months ago up until now are a good proof of that! We hope people in this world are happier and more appreciative, which will make everyone's life easier and more enjoyable!

Disney Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation and absolutely this home rental. Ann and Gary responded so quickly through the whole process. It made everything easy. The hot tub was a great solution for my dad after a day at Disney. He said it helped his muscles recover which was proven as each morning he was the first ready to go. There was plenty of space for all 11 of us. Between the pool, hot tub, billiard tables and tennis courts we stayed busy at the home. Disney is a short drive away and there is a grocery store nearby too. I would recommend this home rental to anyone!

fabulous holiday

we had a fantastic time staying at Ann and Gary's beautiful villa. everything we could possibly need was provided. as a party of 10 there was plenty of room for us all to be together but to also have our own space when we wanted it. it was lovely to come back from a day at the parks and relax in the spa with a drink or have a game of pool in the games room. we wouldn't hesitate on renting from ann and Gary again.
