I can't think of a better way to stay on the island. Margot, the owner, was kind enough to show us the coolest and most hidden parts of the island--as per any local we met and per our experience. I can't imagine a better way of experiencing the island. I highly recommend.

Spectacular

My wife and I just spent a week at this cottage and had an amazing time. Margot is a wonderful host and very personable. We had a great time on St. Croix and staying here made our vacation most memorable.
Not only does this place have fantastic views it is filled with beautiful art and antiques. I would highly recommend this cottage to any couple looking to get away, if we ever get a chance we would love to stay here again.

Amazing Place to Stay!

My husband and I were married on St. Croix this past January and stayed at the cottage during our time on the island. The location was beautiful and the cottage was all we needed and more. Margot was very helpful and we really enjoyed getting to know her. The cottage is very well maintained and comfortable. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks again Margot!

Margot's home is amazing! The pictures don't lie-- it's artfully furnished with anqiues from around the world and the panoramic views are even more breathtaking than the pictures suggest. The small garden was full of amazing tropical plants and hummingbirds. And Margot was an incredibly gracious and generous hostess, full of tips on local restaurants and beaches that weren't in the guide book.
Located 5 minutes up a steep hill on a rustic dirt road, her cottage felt very private and safe, and was a fantastic base from which to explore the island.

Paradise of the Hill

We had the pleasure to stay in this wonderful garden suite last year. So peaceful, surrounded by nature , high on a hill. Sounds of crickets, warm breeze and endless horizon views of turquoise sea and big skies. Beautifully furnished so cozy and warm, you feel you never want to leave. Outdoor shower and bathtub soaking under the stars. Easy access to wonderful sandy beaches and island adventures.
Margot was a generous hostess and shared information of island fun that we never would have known about. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be returning !!!!

WONDERFUL SABATICAL

My girl friend and I stayed at this lovely garden cottage for 16 nights in August 2012. During which time we used it as a base for writing, reading, and exploring the island's many nearby beaches, restaurants, and varied attractions and opportunities for adventure and relaxation. The location is atop Carton Hill in the east end which gives spectacular views to the south, north toward St. Thomas, and east toward Point Udall. The morning sun on the deck with coffee and locally grown breakfast was one of the highlights of my day. The cottage is comfortably and exquisitely appointed with exotic furnishings. All the creature comforts and technology is provided. I've stayed at many different places in the Caribbean. The bed here is among the most comfortable I've ever slept on. It's better than my bed at home. The outdoor double shower and big tub are wonderful. The owner Margot, she is a local business owner, and a wealth of willingly provided knowledge and advice about St.Croix. She is very warm and friendly and very accommodating. I have been to St.Croix many times. I look forward to another stay here soon.
