Villa, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-8)

Beautiful, newer (July 2004), professionally furnished, executive villa located in the Preserve at Tara. This two-bedroom, two-bath, plus a study/den, and two-car garage is ready to welcome you. The house has a fully-equipped kitchen. You can view the palm trees of the Tara Nature Preserve in the rear of this house or the golf action and the beautiful pond across the street as you enjoy breakfast in the Good Morning Room.

Retreat to your master bedroom suite with its queen-size bed, and a very large walk-in closet. The master bath has a very nice walk-in shower, his-and-her sinks, and a deep-soaking tub. The second bedroom is furnished with one queen-size bed and the second bath is just across the hall. The study/den has a desk, a smaller TV, book shelves and a sofa for reading. The living room area gives you a chance to unwind and watch TV or listen to your favorite music. The kitchen is fully appointed. We have a IPod docking radio there.

On your lanai you can relax and view the scenic Preserve at Tara. A gas grill is located on the Lanai for your enjoyment. The villa backs to the Preserve and the fourteenth fairway is visible from the lanai, of this beautiful semi-private golf course. This course is available to you without being a member. Sidewalks make it perfect for evening walks or bike riding. Absolutely no pets, or smoking allowed in the home.

Our Villa at Tara Preserve is strategically located and provides great views of the tropical landscapes. The community pool, hot tub, clubhouse, driving range, dining facility, and tennis court are about a mile away or a fifteen-minute brisk walk.

Gulf beaches are near by, with Siesta Key the #1 beach in the US (per Dr. Beach and the Travel Channel), only 20 minutes away. Enjoy the Arts and nightlife in downtown Sarasota. Lakewood Ranch has a beautiful downtown area, with great restaurants, shopping, movie theater and the famous Troon Golf Course - The Legacy. Lakewood Ranch is only a 10 minute drive down INT 75.

About The Owner

Greetings:

Jean and I have been happily married for 36 years. We enjoy our daughter and son, and are enjoying our grandchildren. A few of our activities include: serving as a Eucharistic Minister, and Lector for the Basilica of St. Hyacinth in Chicago, officiating NCAA & H.S. Football and Basketball, playing golf, crafts, walking and wine collecting. As Jean and I both work, we discuss the day’s events at the dinner table. We are thankful to our parents, for the lives that they lead, and how they showed us the way. Also for the Lord’s blessings upon our lives and our family.

The Owner purchased this house in 2010
Why The Owner chose Bradenton

We have been coming to the Bradenton Sarasota area for the past 5 years. We love the climate, and the friendly nature of the residents. We chose to buy in Tara Preserve because of the breathtaking beauty of the area, and not to mention the fabulous Preserve Golf Course. The tropical landscapes and the nature preserves are well maintained. The golf villas are maintained with a landscaping and community maintenance program. We are minutes away from the gulf beaches and close to the many nice shops and attractions. The #1 Beach in America (according to Dr. Beach and the Travel Channel) is Siesta Key, which is a short drive down Int 75. and then west on Clark Road. It's about a 20 minute drive, to the beautiful white sands, the warm gulf waters, and the gorgeous sunsets.

What makes this house unique

We normally spend the evenings on the lanai playing games and discussing current events. The pond across the street brings nature to us. The Flamingos, Cranes and a occasional alligator use the pond as a watering hole. The birds catch our attention frequently, as they walk between the houses to the nature preserve in the rear. Eagles have also been observed in the nearby nature reserve.

There are many excellent local restaurants:

Breakfast: The one and only Broken Egg in Lakewood Ranch. Where you may see a celebrity or two. Lunch: Leroy Selman’s, Five Guys, and the Red Elephant provide you with excellent All American food.

Dinner: If seafood is your favorite, then Stingray Grill in Lakewood Ranch on University Parkway, or the Lazy Lobster on Lockridge Road. The Stonewood Grill and Tavern is a wonderful steakhouse and is also located on University Parkway.

We love to spend a day at the Siesta Key, or shopping in St. Armand’s. Sarasota is abounding with restaurants, theaters, and the arts. The area is a great place to relax, visit and enjoy the experience. If you just want to kick back, the villa is an excellent place to do just that.

We have been known to take a day trips to Miami and The Everglades. To see natures beauty and experience the eastern shore of Florida. We have yet to drive or take a trip to Key West. This is in our future plans however, and would most definitely be a two day trip.

Thank you for visiting our property, and we hope to hear from you soon.

Rich & Jean

A PLEASANT STAY

A very pleasant stay. Clean, well furnished, well supplied kitchen, complete & clear instructions from owner. The north- west face of the lanai allowed us to have the slider open a lot &use the A.C. minimally. We ate most of our meals on the lanai.
If we missed one thing it was the absence of a "reading chair". My wife used the love seat/half couch but the full couch did not sit comfortably for me.
We would consider staying again & recommending to friends.

We just completed a two month stay at this beautiful Tara Preserve home. If you are golfers you will love it even more. It's the most and best equipped kitchen we've ever stayed in - you literally need to bring nothing. Grocery store is close as well as all kinds of stores and shopping. There's even a movie theater a few miles away. We discovered the Sarasota School of Massage where you can get an hours' massage for $30.00 and took advantage of that. The TV has cable, a DVD player and even an IPod player. The front of the houses faces a pond where birds fly in daily plus a part of the golf course and the back faces a wooded area. We visited the pool and hot tub many times. The owners are always accessible via phone and we would highly recommed this property',
