I have stayed in this condo for several years now between the months of April and September. It will remain my favorite "go to" place every time I visit this part of Colorado. The condo is always been clean, has updated ammenities, and has enough space to accommodate several members of my family as well as friends. One time we were visiting and had all the rooms and beds filled. We then unexpectedly ran into friends from our home state of Florida who came to the condo for happy hour and ended up staying the night. The sleeper sofa in the living room came in handy. The surrounding area is perfect because you have hiking trails right outside your back door (Lilly Lake is a family favorite and is at the top of the mountain which you can get to by taking the free bus), outlet shops, and it is a short drive to the great ski towns of Keystone, Breckenridge, and Vail. If you have time, it is a reasonable drive to Aspen via the scenic Independence Pass or perhaps you prefer a scenic drive along Guanella Pass in closeby Georgetown where I have spotted big horn sheep, pica, and moose. You can also make a trip to Glenwood Springs where you can stop off to see Hanging Lake (a short but moderately strenuous hike) and then spend the rest of the day at the hot springs. If you are brave, you can even try the bungee swing at Glenwood Cave. I have celebrated July 4th many times at Lake Dillon, just a few minutes drive from the condo, and find looking at the light show with the snowcapped mountains in the background a terrific sight. Frisco, also just a few minutes away, is a charming town with great shops and places to eat. There is a short but very steep hike there that gives amazing views of the mountains. The folks who rent the condo have always been responsive and friendly and we have never had any problems during our stays. Whether you are going for a romantic retreat, a family getaway, to spend time with friends, or just to enjoy some peace and quiet communing with nature, this is the place for you! I highly recommend this wonderful Colorado retreat.
