Our weeklong ski vacation stay at Chalet Bibendum was exceptional and worth it. Jolanda and Olaf were wonderful hosts making sure we were very well taken care of. Jolanda's deserts were an added bonus. Try her Dutch apple pie that is to die for! They were very attentive but not intrusive and had everything taken care of giving each one of us plenty of time to enjoy our respective chosen winter activities for the day. The chalet itself was very cosy and relaxing. Chef Basile's food creations will excite a foodie's taste buds and will make you yearn for some more. His innovative use of fresh, local and regional ingredients made every meal exciting and so satisfying. Excellent food + wonderful hosts + breath taking view = Very well relaxed vacation. Stay at Chalet Bibendum is highly recommended

Christmas 2012 is one we will never forget!

We had the privilege of spending the 12 days of Christmas at Bibendum, from Dec. 16-28.
Our group consisted of a family of 8: Grandparents with their Daughter, Son and his wife, and their 3 children (ages 6,5 and 3).

From the moment that Olaf greeted us at Geneva Airport, we knew we were in good hands. Transfer to the chalet was a breeze. Arriving at the chalet, we were all so impressed. It exceeded our expectations in so many ways. Rooms were all beautifully appointed. Living areas were extremely cozy and comfortable. Beautiful artwork. Beds were a dream. Hot tub and Sauna were both beautiful and enjoyed frequently. Everyday upon returning home from skiing, Olaf would have the hottub warmed up and ready to enjoy. Each day started with an incredible breakfast spread, courtesy of Jolanda. While we were enjoy breakfast, she would already be busy baking treats for afternoon tea. Dinner most nights meant a visit from Chef Basile. From the moment he arrived, intoxicating aromas were soon teasing us all of the meal to come. He never disappointed. From cooking meals for the kids, to serving us 5 STAR meals, he was amazing. If you didnt pay close attention, you could forget he was there, but once you sat down to eat, you were so happy that he was. Everything he made was so thoughtfully created and tasted AMAZING......and we are FOODIES!

Jolanda and Olaf did so many small things to make our stay that much more memorable. They were quick to arrange ski passes, book meals out for us, shuttle us all over Chamonix, cater to our every need.....and always with a smile on their faces. By the time we left, even the kids were sad to say goodbye to them.

Located in Les Bois, we were close to everything. Walking to town thru the nordic park, to the sledge/toboggan hills, on the beautiful trails. Shuttle van was comfortable, warm and always there when it was too far to walk. The CRAZY amount of snow that fell during our stay only helped to make it that much more memorable.

We have been home a few weeks now, but think fondly back to our INCREDIBLE stay at Chalet BIbendum often.

Cant say enough about Jolanda & Olaf.....from the moment we booked online, months in advance, to the moment we sadly left the Chalet, they were extremely helpful. Everything is AS ADVERTISED. They are both such lovely people, there when you need them, and invisible when you dont

Bibendum and the mountain is an experience you never forget!
Our arrival at the chalet was very nice. The owners made us feel welcome and everything was well organised en clean.
The chalet is beautifull decorated in detail and the views from inside on the mountains makes it even better. The customer service is very good, because the owners clean on regular basis, are availble when you need them, give you information about the area, without disturbing your privacy.
After a day walking in the mountains the owners warmed the hottub for us and we could enjoy the sauna. In the afternoon we lounged on the veranda, where the sun shines.
The housewine they serve tasted well and we even had the luxery of the Chef, who cooked a great dinner for us.
Chamonix gives you al you want like nice restaurants and shops, etc.
Overall it was the best week ever and we certainly come back to chalet Bibendum

A most beautiful, brilliantly equipped chalet in a quiet part of Chamonix. We travelled with 2 children (13 and 11) for a summer walking holiday. Many wonderful walks were accessible from the door (via the Flegere cable car). Others were accessible in minutes by car or Chamonix transport.
There were a number of good restaurants in walking distance from the chalet and others a short drive away.
The hosts (Jolanda and Olaf) were discrete but so helpful if we needed any information. They knew everything and recommended wonderful walks and excellent restaurants.
Lots of lovely extras professional coffee maker, wine cellar, sauna, copper bath, excellent toileteries, Apple TV, excellent reading book and guide book collection.....
Wonderful balcony with views of mont blanc and you can lie in bed and see the aiguille to midi through the windows.
The best chalet we have ever stayed in.

We spent a wonderful week with family in the chalet Bibendum. There was everything needed for our two babies, cribs, bath seats, high chairs, table games, etc.. They loved bathing in the beautiful bath on the top floor! Jolanda and Olaf are extremely friendly and helpful while being very discreet. The cottage is beautiful, the decor is very warm and original. The kitchen is well appointed and very comfortable to the point that we do not have the idea of ??going out to eat one night! We had a very nice time that we were able to fully enjoy the beautiful terrace. We highly recommend the chalet Bibendum for a successful stay at Chamonix!

You are very close to Chamonix, but you are in Les Bois, a quiter and more pleasant village. You can watch the snow from your bed. The silent is around, nice walks, routes, trails... a perfect place to enjoy an unforgetable time of peace. The chalet is just lovely, and owners are friendly and discrete. You can enjoy a very nice terrace, garden, sauna, lovely bedrooms, large kitchen, music, ... a perfect place to stay!

Jolanda and Olaf have created an environment at Bibendum which provides a fantastic living, eating and sleeping areas with an amazing attention to detail and service. It felt like a 5* hotel experience in the comfort of your own home. The booking process and subsequent information about Chalet Bibendum as well as addressing all and any questions we had was immediate and nothing was complicated giving a feeling that we would be in good hands.
