This was the second opportunity my wife and I had to stay at this residence in Silver Lake and it was a re-experience of a wonderful stay. The owners, John and Steve, have remodeled this beautiful home into a modern, silent, safe and comfortable residence. The amenities are all new and functioning perfectly. The entry is coded ahead of time to the renter's chosen four digit code. And the view overlooks the adjacent Lake Rowenta making this a spacious outdoor surroundings in an urban neighborhood. You will find an easy walk to Pink Berry, Trader Joes, Say Cheese and a Gelson's grocery.
This is a great location to treat yourself to a week or a month in Silver Lake.

What a wonderful rental property! This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom duplex is entirely updated, immaculate, comfortable and quiet. It is in a perfect location. The owners were friendly and very easy to work with. We look forward to staying here again.

Gorgeous newly remodeled one bedroom with high end stainless steel kitchen appliances. Unit even includes a large flat screen and washer/dryer. Stunning interior and landscaping with fantastic reservoir views. Unit was very clean and well maintained. Plenty of on street parking.

Upscale area with plenty of shopping and great restaurants on Hillhurst within easy walking distance. Griffith Park and Trader Joe's only a short walk away.

John, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, and addressed all of our needs. This was a fantastic place to stay, and we hope to stay there again in the future.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to find this beautiful home away from home when we arrived after a very long drive from northern California. It was exactly as described and shown in the photos. We were met by one of the two owners - Steve - who could not have been nicer and very accommodating. His partner, John, had to go out of town so we were not able to meet him this trip, but we are certainly going to stay here again. John did communicate with me by email and was very quick to respond to all inquiries. We had a bit of trouble with PayPal and the deposit, but it all got resolved quickly. John refunded the deposit very quickly after we left.

The neighborhood was lovely and very safe. You look out onto a lake that is across the street which is really nice. The duplex is walking distance to an amazing grocery store that was huge and had anything you could possibly need. That store was across the street from a Trader Joe's which is one of our favorites. We were in town to see my 94 year old uncle. The location was perfect and a straight shot across Silver Lake to Los Feliz through lovely neighborhoods.

We loved the apartment! It was recently redone earlier in 2012 with a lot of attention to detail and comfort. The kitchen was a dream with new appliances and a full sized, front loading washer and drier. The bed was super comfortable - which was very important. I have herniated discs in my lower back and chronic pain issues so a comfortable bed was mandatory. I was not disappointed.

We both highly recommend this beautiful duplex! Steve and John are incredible hosts. Very friendly and eager to help if the need occurs. Oh, and the front patio and landscaping is gorgeous! We could have stayed for a very long time very comfortably!
