The area is beautiful in every way with The Hood Canal less than a 5 minute drive. It's peaceful and pleasant with no sound or light pollution. When you golf, all you will hear are birds, crickets and frogs. There are 101 things to do... or not. You can spend the weekend golfing, boating, kayaking, hiking or just enjoying the serenity. Google The Alderbrook Resort in Union Washington. It's less than a 5 minute drive. You can book spa treatments and have an incredible dinner overlooking The Hood Canal. The area that you will be staying in has a wonderful history. Back in the early 1900's, movie stars, musicians and artists would stay for months on end. To this day, there are a plethora of talented people for you to enjoy. The musicians play amongst the different eating establishments. Even the deli/ pizza place has a 5 piece band that plays on Friday night.

The Nordstrom Family founded the first in North American Golf and Yacht Club- The Alderbrook Golf and Country Club. To this day they still maintain a house beside The Alderbrook Resort. To the other side, Bill Gates has a large compound and frequents the Golf Course. Head up... he and his wife are 'walkers'.
