My mother was a city girl, a perfectionist and loved to entertain. My father was from Cleveland, Georgia and this cottage was the compromise between Atlanta city life and the simple peace of the Smoky Mountains that my father craved. They spent most Summers and Fall in the mountains every year, with my mother quietly nesting and planting flowers throughout the property and my father fishing, reading and cooking. They developed friends all over the mountain and regularly hosted parties at the cottage. I've hired a local housekeeper who is within walking distance to maintain and care for the property.

The cottage is ideal for romantic weekends(for one or two couples), ladies & friends weekends away, working vacations and entertaining. Amenities such as the load ramp for the Toccoa river are within ten minutes from your door. Its a great place to hike, bike and stroll with excellent views of nearby farms and fields. The mist from the mountains in the morning air give the place a mystical feel.
