Photos and Description of the Hardy vacation house rental
House, 2 Bedrooms + Den, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

Beautiful well maintained home with most of the furniture new or next to new.Both beds have new pillow top mattressess that are very comfortable.Lake view from the kitchen or both back decks that are screened in.Also has a nice sitting porch out front that you can sit out on a nice quiet night and play your guitar or just talk.Also has a 2 car carport and a deck with a gas grill.We also have a 42'flatscreen TV with netflix and WIFI.The road is not very busy with woods across the street and woods on both sides blocking the neighbors.Has a gentle slope that has a sidewalk that leads to the lake.Provided is a canoe , and a small bass boat (also small dock).There is also a flatscreen TV in the main bedroom and another TV in the den with a video game.The movie theater,shopping center,and grocery store are just a couple of minutes away.Old Hardy town is about 5 miles away with antique stores,restaurants,Spring river,and a car museum. No one under 25 allowed to rent home. This is not a 'Party House'. We prefer our renters to be responsible adults,with children or without, that want to spend a quiet,relaxing time at our house. We appreciate renters who take good care of it like it is their own. Smoking is not allowed inside,but , please don't throw butts out in the yard around the house. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. As I said,This is not a party house. Also,we do not allow pets in the house.We love animals, and we have a dog and cat.We will not even take them to this house. There is also a 2 night minimum stay.

My wife and I are small business owners and devoted Christians.We attend Highland Hills Baptist church and sing in a gospel group.

We purchased this home to be our retirement home(for the future).We fell in love with it as soon as we walked in it.

What makes this house unique

Peaceful and we love the quiet lake.Also the house was in perfect shape and loved the set up of the house.We also love the dock and the porch and back screened in porches.

Lake cottage

This house is in a fairly quiet neighborhood . We were a little surprised at the appearance of some of the neighboring houses. Fortunately the cottage is surrounded by woods and once you get inside and see the view of the lake you forget the surroundings. The house looks exactly like the pictures and is very clean. The cottage has two levels with a bedroom upstairs and one downstairs. There is also a daybed with Trundle underneath downstairs. I wish we would have had warmer weather to enjoy the lake more. There was not much to do in surrounding towns but if you want a place to relax this cottage is perfect.-

The house is exactly as shown. Peaceful, quiet and has everything you need to stay. I would stay again and would stay longer. Sandi and Randy are wonderful to talk to and want your stay to be comfortable. If you are looking for a quiet place for rest, this is it.

Wonderful Experience!

My husband and I wanted to visit Hardy and needed a quiet and comfortable place to stay. This fit the bill! The accommodations were wonderful, the area quiet and the owners made sure we had everything a person would need to enjoy a relaxing break. Would come back to Hardy and would stay here again. The pictures are current and the home very clean. The sunrise was absolutely God given.

We had a great time. 2 nights is not enough time to do everything we wanted. The house was so cozy. The bed was wonderful! I have never stayed anywhere away from home where the bed was so comfortable! The house was very clean. We definitely will be back with the kids.

We just visited on June 21 - 24 and we had the most wonderful time. The house was very cozy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook with. Very Rested

We stayed here from 4/19-22/12. The description and photos of the house were accurate. The house was very clean and neat. We went there for alot of rest and relaxation and we were not disappointed. The house was supplied very well with towels, coffee and spices. We used the canoe for a paddled around the lake, my husband spent some time fishing and I was able to finish my book while sitting on the floating dock. Our only complaint was that we had to leave and return to the real world. The surrounding towns did not offer a lot to do, but for us we went with the intention of just hanging around the lake house. Thank you Randy & Sandi for making your retirement home available for others to enjoy. Also thanks to those who wrote reviews, because of the good reviews, it helped make the decision in renting this house easier. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

Nice Getaway

I stayed at this home from April6th thrue the 12th 2012, the home was wonderful. It was just like the pics plus more . We did have a very active 2yr old with us so I was worried about all the glassware that was set around. I do believe they need to show pics of the downstairs that is very nice also. The home was very clean and nice . We use the paddle boat some its a lil old looking but it works. Over all the home is very nice. Thanks Randi and Sandi for everything.

I have a very busy life style and I was so happy to find such a nice place to unwind and just kick back to
fish and relax with my kids for a weekend. The owners are very pleasant people and the house was so cozy I felt like I was in my own home the moment arrived and everything we needed was available to us. I loved walking old town hardy with my kids and just going through the little shops. I would rent this home again.

THIS WAS A BEAUTIFUL AS WELL AS RELAXING HOME TO STAY IN. EVERYTHING WAS SO NICE & CLEAN.THEY HAD EVERYTHING THAT WAS SHOWN & ADVERTISED IN THE PHOTOS. THE OWNERS ARE WONDERFUL & SO HELPFUL . WE HOPE TO BE ABLE TO RETURN IN WARMER WEATHER TO ENJOY THE LAKE. WE HAD BREAKFAST EVERY MORNING IN CHEROKEE VILLAGE AT LAKEVIEW DINER.VERY GOOD FOOD EVEN AT LUNCH OR DINNER. We brought our 14 year old grandson Here for three nights. He wanted to stay "forever". He fished, took the canoe out over and over then transferred to the bass boat. I was an eager passenger. Grandma was reluctant to go but enjoyed sitting on the bank and watching. We sat and ate by the window watching the lake. It didn't go anywhere and waited until we got back out there. We really enjoyed our trip to town and the wonderful shops. Guess where the grandson wants to go on our next trip???
