This stunning property faces Punta del Este’s bay and Peninsula, Gorriti Island and Punta Ballena and is close to Piedras del Chileno. Just a few steps away from the beach, you can enjoy sweeping ocean views and magnificent sunsets. The other side of the house overlooks pine forests and a creek with abundant native vegetation and birds. Close to aerobic circuits and bicycle trails. Only 10 minutes away from the main attractions such as Casapueblo, La Barra and the Golf Club. The rooms are spacious, built in wood and stone, with large windows and each of them boasting a fireplace, including the bedrooms. Sleeps 10.

Lower level: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, storage

Main access level: large open plan house, living room integrated with dining room, studio area, lavatory, kitchen with breakfast area, 2 bedrooms with bathroom, 1 ensuite bedroom, large garden and barbecue area.

I´m a 54 years old landscape designer, married with an architect, Following a long tradition, our daughters have also chosen to study Design. Too many artists in my family!!

I live in Montevideo, but Punta del Este is my favorite place to relax.

My house 'Altair' was built in the early 60´s with the idea of contemplating the ocean and the woods at the same time. This house has been an all-year-round vacation house and family meeting point for three generations. Endless summers, bonfires at the beach, night fishing and raging parties are only some of the memories kept within its walls. From the garden, while we saw our children grow, we have witnessed the development of the peninsula´s skyline throughout the years. And by the fireplace, still youngsters, we shared so many nights trying to fix the world...

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE. We stayed from 25/12 to 1/15/2013 WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS. THE HOUSE was PERFECT IN ADDITION TO BEING VERY WELL-EQUIPPED.SUPER WELL LOCATED just steps from the beach. BOTH THE OWNER SUCH AS CRISTINA AMPARO WAITED FOR US WITH ALL THE DETAILS. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING !
