This is a great choice for the summer festival season. You are close enough to easily walk/bike ride/Town bus it to the Town Park (along West Pacific or the River Trail) for the festivals, but when the festival day is over you can get a little sepration from the crowds.

THE SAN MIGUEL RIVER & RIVER TRAIL ARE RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. The waters from Colorado's tallest free-falling waterfall, Bridal Veil Falls, and Ingram Falls in Telluride's box canyon together form the headwaters of the San Miguel, one of the last undamned rivers in the state. The River Trail is a beautiful flat walk that runs east/west along the San Miguel (east to the Town Park and west out along the Valley Floor) for year-round recreation opportunities.
THERE IS A REALLY NICE BRAND NEW COMMON INDOOR/OUTDOOR HOT-TUB/STEAM ROOM RIGHT AT THE END OF THE HALL. One of the tubs, the steam room, a shower & bathroom are inside and the second hot tub is now outside, looking right up at the Ski Area across the street! This area is password protected and available 10am - 10pm daily for your use & enjoyment.
TELLURIDE'S LARGEST GROCERY STORE (Clark's Market) is in the building LITERALLY RIGHT NEXT DOOR. Clark's is open 7am to 9am and offers full deli/butcher services. It's a 30 second walk.
A BRAND NEW DELI (Zest Deli, opened January 2012) is also in the building RIGHT NEXT DOOR.
The NEW TELLURIDE VISITORS CENTER is located above Clark's Market and also RIGHT NEXT DOOR. The Visitors Center is a great resource, with info on all the current happenings in and around Telluride.

Clark's Market is open from 7am to 9pm for all your grocery/breakfast/lunch/dinner/misc needs - couldn't be easier. When walking to the short covered distance to the grocery store you'll pass the new Zest Deli and Telluride's new Visitors Center as well as the Ship It/Copy It store.

The locally made custom alder wood entertainment center in the living room has a 32' LCD TV with over 60 channels including HBO, some HD programming and dozens of programmed radio stations. The shops, galleries, restaurants & bars in the historic commercial core of Telluride's Main Street are just a few blocks away, as is the free Gondola to the Mountain Village which you can also use for ski access. You can easily walk to the Gondola year round (under 10 minute walk), or you can always jump on the free Galloping Goose town bus which comes by the property on West Pacific Avenue every 10 minutes (20 minutes after 8pm).
