We stayed here with our boys (12 & 13). There was lots of room..one bedroom was never used since one son decided he prefered the couch. The house was very clean and had pretty much all we needed..a/c, cable tv, Internet. Glad we packed a soft cooler for the beach and a hair dryer. Also, earplugs were a must for us..there were LOTS of stray dogs barking all night and a rooster too but this is sort of the jungle! Our boys loved feeding the dogs..every evening the number of "visitors" grew till they had 4 regulars every night for dinner. We had a car for our 2 week stay but could get by without one if you are somewhat adventurous/athletic. We could walk 5 min to small grocery store and 15 to larger one and several restaurants. The beach is a liitle more challenging..20 min walk downhill but a bit harder back up! ( a neighbor said the bus back up is only 50cents and we did see them on the road often). All tours picked us up at the house. Frank was great and arranged tours for us. Whitewater rafting on the savegre river and zip line were our favorites. ATV was o.k. However the rainmaker nature preserve they took us to was incredible...worth doing on your own if you can get there..we googled it to get directions to get back. Happy hour at Luna at the giai hotel was great. We also loved Victorias as well as cafe Milagro and sanchos. Two weeks went by way too fast..we will definately be planning a return visit!

Our family stayed as Casa Papillon in May and we were extremely pleased with the accomodations and service we recieved from Green Coast Villas! The location and view were fantastic. We loved the kitchen and the house was spacious. We had two couples and my mother with us and we were very comfortable. Having Wi-fi was great, the 2 pools were spectacular and the location was right between Manuel antonio National Park and Quepos so very convenient. The service couldn't have been better from the airport transfers to checking us in and arranging day trips it was all handled by friendly and helpful staff! Would recommend them whole-heartedly and we can't wait to return next year!

Casa Papillon was a great vacation rental. With all updated bathroom and appliances, you have all the luxuries of home. We had 2 adults and 4 teens with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy themselves. The pool and hammocks were a big hit with the teenagers. Very clean and nice accomodations with a well stocked kitchen

I cannot say enough about the experience I had staying at Casa Papillon. I visited Costa Rica for the first time ever this april and everything exceeded my expectations.

I was excited when I first saw the pictures online but when I finally arrived, I realized that a website can't due enough justice to the real thing!! ...it is spacious, bright, super clean, and spectual in its design. The two private pools and deck overlook a stunning view of the mountains and the ocean in the distance.

Every morning our group would be up bright and early to lay by the pool and soak up the morning sun (which is hot!) before we began our daily activities.

The Green Coast staff is incredible! Our concierge, Frank, was always available to help with any issue, question, or need. We had arranged for a private chef for some of the meals and I can honestly say that it was some of the most amazing food I've ever had in my life. The seafood and produce was extremely fresh and prepared with unique flair but the chef is also able to accomdate any special request. Lineth in the Green Coast office was also a huge help with all of our arrangements.

Casa Papillon is spacious, comfortable, clean, modern, and was a superb place to stay while in Costa Rica. Green Coast also arranged our activities, which included: zip lining in the canpopy, white water rafting, and deep sea fishing. I will say the deep sea fishing was amazing. We caught a bunch of yellow fin tuna, mahi-mahi, and a couple of large swordfish. The crew was great and even made us sashimi out of the yellow fin right on board!

This was truly the trip of a lifetime and I cannont wait to go back and stay with Green Coast. I highly recommend this experience to anyone!!

I would stay at this villa, or any of the others managed by Green Coast Villas, in a heartbeat! We are actually already planning our next trip to the Manuel antonio area. This was the most beautiful home, in the most beautiful country I've ever seen, filled with the friendliest people in the world. I know now why everyone falls in love with Costa Rica. The house was gorgeous, the pool and its view were breathtaking, and the kitchen was spectacular. Frank was awesome, and helped us out whenever we needed it. Hopefully he'll hang out with us the next time we're down there. Our vacation was something we expected to enjoy, but in reality, what we got was a glimpse into another world entirely. The way of life, the wonderful attitude of everyone in Costa Rica, the weather, the food, everything... All made more enjoyable by Casa Papillon. We will be back, and if Papillon is booked, we'll find another Green Coast villa with 100% faith that it will be absolutely amazing.

This was our second visit to Manuel antonio but our first booking through Green Coast Villas and let me tell you, they don't dissapoint. First, our house was upgraded upon arrival so we stayed in an even more beautiful home than we originally expected. Frank, our contact at Green Coast Villas, was very helpful... even when we called at 9 in the evening! Casa Papillon is absolutely breath-taking and the view from the balcony is amazing. We had the luxury of two swimming pools, both of which were fantastic. I would recommend this house to anyone and everyone who asks about Manuel antonio...in fact, we may be booking it again next year! Stafanie

Our family stayed at Casa Papillon in May and we had a wonderful time! The kitchen was spacious and the view was spectacular! The 2 pools were amazing and well-enjoyed! The location was close to Quepos for all our needs, with an excellent variety of restaurants close by in Manuel Antonio. We saw monkeys chasing each other in the morning and plenty of local wildlife. The staff were very accomodating, from arranging our transfers from the airport, to a private tour of a sanctuary for my mother. She loved it! We can't wait to go back next year and will definitely stay there!
