We stayed at this location over Spring Break. It is hands down, the best place we've ever stayed at (we go somewhere different every year in hopes of finding THE place). Montana was great - everyone is so nice! The skiing was wonderful - not crowded at all during spring break and no waiting in lines anywhere. Ski school was great.
The condo is well furnished and owners have thought of everything from first aid kits and walkie talkies to toiletries and the most well stocked kitchen I have ever used. Lower level floor has ski in/out access, hot tub outside, 2 bedrooms with attached full baths and king beds. Laundry room downstairs also. Main floor has living area with porch to grill/eat outside, kitchen, half bath, dining room. Upstairs has bedroom with bunk bed, bed nook in wall and attached bath. Everything about this location is convenient. It felt like home.
The green moose was great! Safe to drive and very reliable. Super convenient to have. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place or the owners.
Skiing - we have 4 children (ages 2-9) and had plenty of skiing to do on moonlight. Didn't even have to go to big sky. We also went tubing at moonlight - no conveyer belt, but fun and not crowded. Big sky has a bigger tubing area if you're interested.
Overall, a great place to stay if you're planning a vacation in Montana. We will be back (probably every year) if the owners will have us. Thanks so much for everything!

A great relaxing time at the Green Moose! The ski-in, ski-out was perfect - easy to stop for lunch or a break. We enjoyed skiing Moonlight Basin - lots of challenging blue runs and no lift lines! My wife really loved the spa at the Moonlight Lodge which is an easy walk - great massages and a very nice work-out room. The condo is super nice with lots of special touches. Very nicely furnished and comfortable - all the amenities, even space heaters in the bedrooms. The full size SUV makes the whole trip really easy and convenient. A great value and I highly recommend this place! If you're looking for a great restaurant, try Olive B's in the village.

What a great ski vacation! The townhouse is so well stocked and equipped, so comfortable for the family. Having the green moose at the airport made things so convenient. I would recommend this townhouse to anyone thinking of coming to Big Sky.

From the luxury of having a car at your disposal at the airport to the lovely gift basket of goodies on the counter and the delicious hot tub right outside the door, this is a great find! The proximity to Yellowstone was also a plus, how fun to go in the winter without so many tourists. The owners are very responsive and accommodating, thinking of all the little details that made our stay out of the ordinary.
We really enjoyed our stay and the skiing was not for the faint of heart. What a great place, we are looking forward to another time when we can enjoy the Green Moose one more time.

Luxury Saddle Ridge home!

We had a fantastic stay in this condo last weekend. We have rented many different Saddle Ridge condos via VRBO and Moonlight lodging over the last 10 years and this is by far a favorite. There are several different layouts in SR and this condo benefits from an open family room/dining room and kitchen. The family room has ample, comfortable seating, great flat-screen TV with DVD player, and a nice DVD collection. The kitchen has every convenience imaginable, nice cutlery, dishware and cookware and the pantry is well-stocked. The bed setup is excellent for 2 families with kids. The spacious 3rd-floor bedroom is perfect for kids to bunk in with a twin-over-queen bunk and oversized-twin bed in the alcove. This bedroom has it's own spacious bath and xbox game station. It gives kids a place to get away. All beds are very comfortable and linens and towels are top-notch. The unit is very clean and well-maintained overall, and the property description is spot on. The location is right above the Pony lift, so ski in/out access is quick and easy. View from the hot tub will make you smile! Honestly, too many extras to mention. The owners have put together an extremely comfortable home, and we can't wait to come back. There is a reason that there are no available dates for this condo! Thanks for sharing!

My family and I stayed at the Green Moose in December and had such a good time. The location was perfect for skiing to the slopes right out of the front door. No car full of snow or icy road to deal with, great! Beautiful views from every window and door in the condo. The condo was close enough to the ski lodge for a quiet and relaxing dip in the warm pool, but far enough away from the grind, and the hustle/bustle of a first class ski resort. The unit itself was very well appointed, and stocked with little extras that came in handy during our stay. The kitchen and dining room were large and updated. My kids loved the beds in the bedrooms, and the xbox even attracted the adults in the family. The vehicle was well maintained and large enough to fit all of us, and then some. Even the neighbors were welcoming and offered their services during our stay. The town had good restaurants, and there was plenty to do if you did not want to ski. Wow, where else do you get all that? Lastly, the owners were so caring and professional; a very nice couple indeed. We would highly recommend a stay at the Green Moose :-)

Great stay at the Green Moose

Me and my girlfriend and her family got to stay here in mid July and had a fantastic time! Even with 3 groups of people staying in the condo we all had plenty of space and everyone had a blast. Great hiking right in Big Sky, great views of the mountain right off the deck in the condo, 10 minute drive from great fly fishing in the Gallatin River. We all had a wonderful time! Thanks so much for leting us stay. The Green Moose provides everything you need for a great stay reguardless of what activities your going to do.

We loved staying here, very comfortable, well equipped and it was great to have so many things left in the pantry for us to use. The views from the condo are stunning and it is truly ski in / ski out, the location could not have been better. We had 4 boys on the trip and the kids' room with xbox and games was an added bonus. Use of the Green Moose was fantastic, a perfect SUV for the area, comfortably fitting six plus all luggage. We were also incredibly lucky with the weather and snow. It was the last week of the season and we had plenty of powder and very quiet slopes. I would thoroughly recommend both this condo and Moonlight Basin - a great family ski resort with very good snowsport school. Thanks for your hospitality - we hope to return in 2013.

Amazing ski vacation! Thanks so much for making this trip a great family vacation. We also signed up for use of the SUV (the Green Moose) and it was at the airport for easy pick up. The owners helped with everything. Ski-in, ski-out for real!

If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. The location is perfect with Ski on, Ski off access to both Big Sky and Moonlight Basin. Snap into your Skis and 15 seconds later you are on the lift. The views from the deck, hot tub and living room are amazing. My wife and I went with another couple and their 3 children. The size of the townhouse and layout of the bedrooms was great and allowed plenty of room for both common area and also privacy. The owners have the place fully furnished and stocked with everything you will need (and more) to make your stay comfortable. They were wonderful to deal with throughout the process and are extremely accommodating. They could not have been any nicer. The skiing is incredible, great conditions and no crowds. Make sure to ski at Moonlight Basin along with Big Sky. We thought we might do 1 day and Moonlight and ended up doing 3 because we liked it so much. I could go on and on but will just finish by saying, thank you for allowing us to stay at your home. It far exceeded our hopes and expectations (and we had pretty high hopes and expectations)!
