This place deserves more stars than VRBO allows. From the moment we stepped into the villa, we were blown away by our experience at Casa Yvonneka. 14 of us stayed here for a business school reunion, which included a combination of couples, singles, men and women. We are all very well-traveled and critical of good food and service and everything still it exceeded everyone's expectations. I have been in the hospitality industry for almost five years and I can honestly tell you that you can't find a private villa like this with beautiful and tasteful accommodations, amazing service, gourmet meals cooked to order, incredible views, and perfect location with a 10 minute walk to the beach for the price - even in Mexico! The staff consistently went the extra mile to assure we had an amazing time and we actually felt like we were very welcome guests of Yvonneka. I will definitely return and I am already looking forward to my next visit! Thank you Yvonneka, Chef Malena, and the rest of the staff for making our vacation the best one EVER!

We recently returned from our 2nd stay at Casa Yvonneka.We are an extended family of 16, ages 2-92. As our vacation dates approached, there was much anticipation based on our memories of the 1st stay. That anticipation turned to joy and the making of more wonderful memories. Casa Yvonneka is a home you walk into and feel at ease - each room planned for comfort and luxury (what a great combination!) Each bedroom is thoughtfully designed for maximum enjoyment, the common areas are welcoming. Magdalena and her staff are the family in this home and they included our family during our 8 days. We were pampered throughout the day, they were a team with our enjoyment their goal.They provided us with wonderful meals (try the Hungarian chicken), tasty snacks by the pool, margaritas for the grownups and smoothies for the younger set. Breakfasts were fabulous - fruit,fresh juices, crispy bacon, omelettes to order and French toast and pancakes! Meals being only part of it. Rooms were cleaned, fresh towels and linens and beds turned down at nite. Every day was like a big hug from all of them, working as a team to make our stay as memorable as possible - it worked!! We had plenty of activities to choose from: swimming, karaoke, pool table, massages were arranged, Mariachi band one evening, gym, quiet corners to get lost for awhile. Friends from NYC joined us for dinner one evening - they were amazed at the magnificence of Casa Yvonneka. Casa Y has been a treasure to find in our favorite city and we look forward to our return. Thank you, Yvonneka, for more memories to hold in our hearts. On a side note, I read about safety concerns of PV and Mexico in general. We have vacationed in PV 13 years, our extended family has joined us 5 of those years. We have never felt uncomfortable here - we walk the streets in the neighborhoods, we hire transportation and boat rentals. We even needed a hospital one year for an infant grandson. Our experiences have only been positive - we find the city endlessly enjoyable, the people marvelous, the weather appealling (we live in the midwest) and always start planning next year as soon as we return home. Looking forward to our return!

It has taken me this long to come back to reality after spending a week at Casa Yvonneka. Our week there was one to be remembered. The house was incredibly beautiful and the staff really made you feel welcome and treated you better than family! Magdalena, Fernando, Felix, Tony and the rest were magnificent! They were very good in anticipating all of our needs and always made sure we had an enjoyable time. We would very much like to come back to Casa Yvonneka in the near future and enjoy again the warm hospitality and excellent service we received there. Hope to come back soon. Alex and Franco.

Yvonneka fue inolvidable ya que la casa era de ensueno y Magdalena, Fernando, Felix, Tony y el resto del personal nos hicieron sentir como en nuestra propia casa. Durante todo el tiempo no hubo momento en que Magdalena y su equipo no estuviera al pendiente de nosotros, siempre asegurandose que pasaramos un dia y noche de encanto.
El café de la manana, el ceviche, el guacamole y los platos esquisitos hicieron la estadia en Casa Yvonneka muy agradables. Esperamos regresar pronto a Casa Yvonneka ya que tenemos muy

Our family of 21 people spent a week at this beautiful home. Our experience was amazing and exceeded everyone's expectations. We enjoyed time with our five married children, their spouses, and 9 grandchildren (6 months to 9 years).
Magdelana and her staff looked after us 24 hours a day. Even Felix the night watchman would make us snacks and serve us drinks into the evening. The rooms were cleaned daily and were spic and span. The food was exceptional and plentiful. Everyone made us feel very welcome. The living quarters were beautiful, the view spectacular, and everyone felt pampered.
Our kids are already asking us when we are going back to Casa Yvonneka !

We had such an amazing stay at Casa Yvonneka! It was luxury at its finest. The house is absolutely beautiful from the infinity pool with its sweeping views of the city and ocean, to the gorgeous and spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and common rooms. The staff was amazing. They were attentive, hospitable, and friendly. The did everything they possibly could to make our stay unforgettable. Maktalena is an incredible cook. It was the best food we had on our vacation. Fernando, Tony and Felix mixed delicious drinks and made sure we had everything we needed. I can't recommend Casa Yvonneka highly enough!

Casa Yvonneka is always a winner! Our group always looks forward to our yearly vacation in paradise. The staff and luxurious accomodations are most welcoming. Our group enjoys the delicious meals, outstanding service and appreciate the impeccable cleanliness. We have such a wonderful time, either working out in the gym, playing pool or just drinking the well served margaritas by the inifinity pool, overlooking the spectacular view of the bay. The charm and hospitality makes it difficult for our departure. Highly recommended and will be back next year!

We just returned from Casa Yvonneka. From our first moments there we knew it would be one of the greatest vacations we ever experienced (this from two very seasoned travelers!). The estate is exceptional. When we arrived we were served with fantastic margaritas and guacamole. We were given a tour of the 5 floors - each bedroom is more wonderful than the next - most with ocean/city views and private balconies. The public space is ideal for large groups. We loved the Stargazer Lounge and the huge Living Room / Dining Room. We chose to have all of our meals outside (you can have breakfast/lunch or breakfast/dinner each day) by the gorgeous infinity pool with spectacular views. On Christmas Eve we were served whole Red Snapper grilled over an open fire. All our meals were of the highest quality with great service. The staff was remarkably attentive to all of our needs - from making reservations to calling taxis to taking care of all of our needs at Casa Yvonneka. We chose to have leisurely mornings with full days of activities and to return in the evening for more relaxation. We spent our first day sailing and watched humpback whales leaping out of the bay only 500 yards away and watched while a pod of 6 dolphins raced in front of our boat only 3 feet away for 15 minutes. On day two, we took a private ponga boat ride to Yelapa (see the beautiful waterfall there). Other excursions included zip line tours (try Los Veranos or El Eden) and horseback riding. Try Mangos for a 'hip' club on the beach (and private parasailing). The restaurants were all exceptional. Ocean Grill is a real experience (allow a lot of time to get there as you need to shuttle with a boat!) and possibly the best grilled seafood one can find anywhere. We also loved Cafe des Artistes (Mexico's only starred restaurant), Hacienda San Angel (Mariachi Band), and The River Cafe. As wonderful as all of our activities were, the crown jewel was beginning and ending our day in the splendor of Casa Yvonneka. We are already planning our return with our friends and family.
