I rented this house for a few friends of mine over the Fourth of July weekend and couldn't have been happeier with my selection. Paul was a gracious host and handled every need I could have had. The house was HUGE with lots of space for all to spread. It was nice to have friends from all over the country together and give each of them their own space. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom which was great considering the amount of people we had staqying with us. The homes position in reference to Grand Targhee Ski Resort is perfect. It is about 6 miles upp the hill and a very easy drive. You are also just 6 miles from Driggs Idaho, a small little town for groceries or a night our for dinner. You are also a short 45 minute scenic drive to Jackson Hole and some great white water rafting. I was very pleased with this home and with it's owner, Paul. I would highly recommend this locatgion to anyone traveling to the region. I am hoping to be back there next year!

This is by far the nicest rental property which I have ever stayed. I have been fortunate to have visited the Triple Nickel Ranch on two different occasions. On my first visit, in July of 2009, the house accommodated eight adults and ten children, with ease. It is incredibly well maintained and impeccably clean and has all the amenities you would need to make for a comfortable and enjoyable stay for a large group. The kids, ranging in age from seven to eighteen, found plenty of ways to entertain themselves, both inside the house and on the property. Actually, we ALL hiked, biked, played along the river and pond located on the property, enjoyed the hot tub, the pool table, and the many other indoor and outdoor games available at the house.

I also LOVE the location. Nestled beneath the Grand Tetons, on the opposite side of the more commercialized Jackson Hole, the scenery is some of the most breathtaking this country has to offer. On both my summer and fall trip, I enjoyed spectacular hikes, mountain and road biking adventures, rafting and kayaking on both the Teton and Snake rivers, and day trips to both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. The nearby town of Driggs also offers convenient shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.

I am hopeful that my next visit will be a winter vacation, to take advantage of snowshoeing on the property, and skiing and snowboarding at Targhee, located just up the road from the house. I eagerly look forward to returning to the Triple Nickel, and I highly recommend it to all!

As someone who typically gets nervous about renting houses sight unseen, we could not have been more delighted! The Triple Nickel Ranch was the perfect setting for our annual family ski trip. With 4 families and 9 kids, it's not easy to find a house that accommodates everyone without someone getting stuck with the "bad room". This house was perfectly designed with multiple master suites, plenty of bathrooms and living areas on two levels. We had all the comforts of home and much more. The location is a perfect balance between feeling a part of the natural beauty of the Grand Tetons and having easy access to skiing, restaurants and shopping. We will definitely rent again.

Where you said there is no way you could ever top it. Our family has been out west to ski for the last 5 or so years and I've made plenty of trips before the family came along. I've stayed at the nicest mountains, hotels, condos, etc. The Triple Nickel has BY FAR the MOST to offer. The house, I mean lodge is absolutely gorgeous and very well done. The surroundings are something to behold...Very quiet which is great as the kids played outside by themselves and we didn't worry at all (unlike the resorts in CO & UT). Snowshoes & tons of trails with all sorts of wildlife footprints....Tucked back on a very quiet road with great views of a number of mountains. I have to say, I was a little concerned about Targee based on skiing at all of the big resorts in UT & CO. But, it was perfect. Ski school was better than any other our kids have gone to. Mountain itself was a log of fun. We skied 5 days and there was still plenty of mountain to ski. The atmosphere was perfect for families. I can honestly say that I will never take my family any place again....The whole experience so far exceeded our expectations...A little reluctant to leave such a positive review as it just means more risk of the Triple Nickel being taken next year when we want to go again......
