We fell in love when we saw the view of Big Sky & Moonlight Basin's spectacular Lone Peak enjoyed from the Master Bedroom Suite, Living Room and Outdoor Deck. Combined with the in-unit hot tub room, fireplace, plenty of space, lodgepole pine beam work and one of the best Mountains in the Rockies sold us.

Slope side often requires a lot of walking, is noisy, and comes at a premium price. We're only a half mile away on the free shuttle. Take our elevator down to the heated indoor garage, and a few steps out the door you can board the free shuttle that takes you right to the Big Sky Resort entrance.

The large 'L' shaped Living Room, Dining Room, TV/Den area gives everyone space to spread out with couches, recliners and good reading lights. Or for some private time escape to the peaceful sun room for a nap, or use the desk to set-up your lap-top.

Full kitchen, laundry, internet, TV/DVD/CD/VCR surround system, firewood, and a boot & glove dryer-handles 6 pair of each at once.

Perfect Home Away from Home

Our family had a great time staying at Big Sky. We got to take advantage of some spring skiing as well as take a Tour of Yellowstone with Yellowstone Safari Co. which we highly recommend.

The condo was great, ideal layout so that we had room to spread out and find our own areas to watch TV, enjoy the fire, sit in the hot tub, read in the sun room, or enjoy the spring weather on the balcony. The kitchen was stocked with all necessary items for cooking, baking, etc. although we didn't need it since Bret provided a great list of restaurants in the area. Booking and check-in was extremely easy. Great communication throughout the whole process from the owner. Absolutely recommend this condo for all family vacations, and will use it again on our next trip out to Big Sky.

Perfect rental for our ski week at Big Sky

This condo was the perfect size for both my husband and me, and for our two 20 something sons who came with us to ski for the week. The hot tub was a special treat after long days of skiing the steeps and snows of Big Sky and Moonlight. The condo is only about a mile away from the base of Big Sky, and although we drove over every day we easily could have used the shuttle bus which picks up skiers right out front. The kitchen was well equipped, the living room and TV area had plenty of lounging chairs and couches, and we had all the wood we wanted for fires in the fireplace every night. We felt completely at home, are hoping to rent this again for our trip next year.

Great place to stay for skiing at Big Sky

Very conveniently located for skiing at Big Sky -- less than 5 minutes by car or bus (which we did not take). Clean, comfortable accommodations. Owner is extremely organized and helpful. Nice new hot tub. Fully stocked kitchen. Comfortably slept 5 adults, could probably accommodate a total of 8-10, though bathroom usage might get a bit challenging then. Heated garage. Wood-burning fireplace with firewood provided. Only problem was noise from neighbors above and from snowblowing early in the morning (a good problem to have when you want to ski).

Big Sky, Big View

When I first knew I was going to Big Sky, this was the first vacation home I looked at on the internet. After looking at just about everything else available, this was also the last place. I chose Skycrest 1716 for the view, the location, the positive reviews and the value. Brett, the owner, answered all my questions promptly and fully.

My expectations were exceeded. Everything you see in the pictures and described in the listing is exactly what you get and more. The view of Lone Peak and Big Sky Mountain Village is incredible. In addition, the condo is roomy, clean, well maintained and outfitted with all the decor and essentials that make this a home that has been crafted by an owner who truly wants you to enjoy your Big Sky stay. In addition to the condo, you also get a wealth of local knowledge acquired by the owner, an avid skier.

Big Sky is ideally situated half way between Bozeman and West Yellowstone. The area is magnificent and the development of the resort areas has brought fine restaurants, shopping and all kinds of summer activities to enjoy. I hope to return in the near future and when I do, this is where I will stay. I recommend this vacation home to all. You will thank yourself over and over for selecting this property.
Owner's Response: Dear "M", thank you for that fantastic condo review. I really appreciate the time you spent drafting up this very positive write-up on our place.

We take renting our condo as a very personal thing. We really want people to call our place their home, and make the best of their short visit to one of our Country's most scenic states. Thanks again, Brett

I'm a little scared to tell you how incredible this place is for fear of not being able to rent it when I want to go back due to so many people finding out about this place. The condo was fabulous. We loved Big Sky and both my wife and I said it was one of our favorite places we've skied. There were many, many times we were the only ones on a run. If we waited one minute for a lift then that was a long time for this place. The owner sent us a ton of info not only about the condo but tips on skiing, where to eat, etc.

The view from the condo is second to none at Big Sky. Having an underground garage, fireplace, and more where are wonderful amenities. Tons of room. The living room/den/dining area was way more space than our family of four needed.

Bottom line- this place is a great deal.

A fine winter vacation

I came to Big Sky for a medical meeting at the Huntley Convention Center but brought my family to do some fun winter activities. Brett's condo was a perfect base to go from. The facilities were just as described, clean, comfortable, larger than I expected. The heated garage was especially nice. You can wait there, inside by the door for the shuttle bus (free, comes about hourly). Fireplace, hot tub, complete kitchen, everything we needed for a good time.

Awesome property

We visited the condo in early July to hike in the nearby Lee Metcalf Wilderness. Condo is awesome! Fantastic view of Lone Mountain, great fireplace and abundant wood downstairs in garage. All amenities anyone could want. Full supply of endless paper products. Location is also very good.

Location is also great if you like to cross country ski. Only a few miles to Lone Mountain Ranch which has some of the best cross country ski in the country. Brett is very helpful and contract and keys worked perfectly. We will definitely return.

A+++

I had a business conference scheduled at Big Sky so after researching many places to stay I always came back to this unit at Skycrest. We found it as advertised and more. I honestly can not think of one thing I could ask to be different. Brett, the owner, answered all my questions and concerns promptly before arrival and after. In fact, due to an airline mix up, I could not arrive before my family that was coming from Kansas and since I had the keys, instructions, etc it could have been a disaster. But because of the rental packet I received from the owner, I not only had the condo manager's name, but his cell # as well. He was more than happy to help us out by letting my family in until I could arrive.

If you are concerned about not staying "on property" at Big Sky: don't be. This condo is literally 3" from the main drop off to ski. And to us the view is worth every second. You can see the entire Big Sky resort and mountain out the bedroom or living room windows- and it is spectacular! For those who choose not to drive across the street, there is a shuttle that travels back and to on a schedule posted in the garage - which is heated as well. No raking snow off the roof or scraping windshields before you can leave.... just hop in and take off.

While there were only 4 of us here, the condo was capable of handling twice that with ease - in sleeping arrangments as well as space in general. We will definitely be calling on Brett again when we have the chance to return. Brett even goes the extra mile and provides the little things that we so often overlook, i.e.extra toilet paper, tissue, soap, paper towels and such. And while the unit doesn't come with a washer and dryer, it is literally 10 feet outside the door in a heated laundry room..... right next to the elevator. No long walks to either one. I'm telling you.... it couldn't get anymore convenient.

Thanks again for a great time.....
