House, 4 Bedrooms + Convertible bed, 6 Baths, (Sleeps 10-11)

Get free lift tickets when you book any 3 nights or more at our custom home in the town of Crested Butte. This offer is valid November 22 through December 19.

Have eveything you need available to you in this large, spacious custom 4 bed/6 bath home with three floors, a great view of the mountain, gourmet kitchen and a large farm table for dining. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom and walk-in closet (standard closet in basement bedroom). In addition to the great room with kitchen/dining/living room, there is also a media room (with pull-out sofa), mud room, and separate den with wet bar and TV. See below for a full list of the amenities.

Basement: Guest room with queen bed, full bath, large laundry (with laundry shoot) and media room with pull-out couch.

First Floor: 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, 1 King, 1 Queen and bunk room with twin/full bunk + trundle. Mud room with bathroom and utility sink.

Second Floor: Great room with cathedral ceilings, large kitchen, gas fireplace, couches, dining area and deck with gas grill. Powder room and seperate den with wet bar and TV.

Our home is IN TOWN and 1 block away from the free bus pick-up to take you up the hill to the ski slopes and across the street from the library and softball park. Say 'Good Morning' to the horses grazing across the alley in the back of the house while sipping your coffee and enjoying the view of the mountain. Shopping, restaurants, playgrounds and grocery store are all within walking distance.

Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to create a wonderful meal to share with family and friends at the large farm table which seats 12 people. Media room has a large library of DVDs for adults and kids as well as a shelf full of books to curl up on the couch with. Stereo with DVD and satellite radio is hooked up to speakers throughout the third floor and back deck which includes lounge chairs. Gas grill is hooked up to main gas line so there's no need to make an extra trip for propane.

There is no need to look further! This is the perfect spot to enjoy your visit in Crested Butte!

About The Owner

We are a family of 5 with a love for the outdoors and the town of Crested Butte. We currently reside in Seattle, WA. and try to get to Crested Butte for skiing and mountain air as much as possible.

The Owner purchased this house in 2008
Why The Owner chose Crested Butte

We were living abroad for several years and wanted to find a place where we could spend our time during the summer and holidays where the kids could consider 'home' since we didn't have a place to call our own when we came back to the states. Garth has fond memories of traveling to CB with his family to visit friends and when one got married in 2006, we decided to start looking for property. The house was designed to accomodate as many of our friends and family as possible.

What makes this house unique

Since each bedroom has its own full bathroom, nobody has to wait for a hot shower! We love to sit on the front porch with a beer, put our feet up on the rail and watch the softball games in the summer or have the convenience of walking to the end of the street to catch the bus for skiing. We made sure to kid-proof the house as much as possible by taking sharp edges off of the hearth, building a 1/2 wall going down the stairs instead of rails, and purchasing kid-friendly furniture with smooth edges and treated fabric for stains. We did not skimp on beds - which are incredibly comfortable, and most with feather comforters (regular cotton coverlets also available). Oh yes, and the floors are heated throughout!

Amazing house!

We had a great time in Crested Butte. We had a large group of people with 8 adults and three kids and this house was perfect. It was big enough that we all felt like we had our own space and we were able to get away. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was key. The owners are great! Molly helped us out with the planning of our trip and gave us permission to use a lot of their baby products (high chair, pack and play) so that we didnt have to lug ours around with us. The only thing that wasn't perfect with the place was the parking. A few of the folks in our party got parking tickets the first night (mainly because they couldnt read the signs...haha) The alley was really the only option for winter parking and it's a bit tight.

Highly recommend this place! We will be back!
