Custom renovated three bedroom apartment in top two stories of heritage house in downtown Vancouver. The suite itself is done with a warm heritage feel, including hardwood floors, exposed wood features, classic tile work in its two bathrooms and kitchen and stained glass in the entryway. In the kitchen, a dark granite countertop is accented by stainless finish state-of-the-art appliances including a bottom-freezer fridge, a glass top range and a Blomberg dishwasher. A heated floor and soaker tub in the main bathroom ensure comfort. The suite is completely furnished and ready for living. South facing living area features a 46” flat screen HD TV and entertainment system with Sony Playstation 3. There is a 32' flatscreen tv in each bedroom. All TVs are provided with high definition cable service. High speed wireless internet is available throughout the apartment.

There are views of the mountains from the north bedroom, the dining area and the kitchen, and from the balcony adjoining the master bedroom on the third floor. To the south, the suite overlooks a private yard and beyond, a wooded park. Rental comes with secure parking and available maid service. A beautiful and comfortable place for a short or mid-term stay.

A Great Alternative to a Hotel

This was a great alternavie to a Hotel! We had each Bedroom full (including the TV room and it fit 8 adults. The apartment seems small at first, but the bedrooms are all nice and big. The dining area is small and it was a challenge to have a "Family style" dinner but we did all fit in there. There was a TV in every room, but the bedrooms only seem to get the first 30 channels or so. The aprtment was beautifully decorated and the upstairs Loft Mastersuite was rather roomy (but watch your head if you're tall). What I loved most about this vaation was being able to be with my whole family the whole time and not have to be split up into 4 different hotel rooms. When you think about it that way it also makes this a very affordable option. I had the time of my life and will remember this holiday fondly...Isn't that what it's all about?

Nice place to stay off the beaten path

My husband and I spent an enjoyable week in this very clean apartment in the beautiful town of Vancouver. We also had two of our grown kids with us for two nights and all of us were very comfortable. The bathroom setup in the "Master" bedroom is very different with the shower being a curtain surrounding the drain in the floor. It worked, and I guess that's all that matters. The only thing I'd mention for any older visitors is that there are quite a few steps to climb-into the house, up to the main floor and up to the third floor where the "Master" bedroom is. Also, the coin opperated washer/dryer that was available is in a small storage room at the back of the house. We did find a nearby laundromat. We didn't do any cooking but all the facilities are there with very nice appliances. There was street parking for our car. We checked out the back of the property where you were supposed to be able to park off an alley but there wasn't room for the minivan. The owners were very informative and did reply quickly to all our emails. We would definitely stay here again, if it's available.

Great place to stay in the Commercial Drive area

Stayed here with my parents, wife and two kids during the 2010 Olympics. The apartment was recently renovated so everything was nice, new, and spotlessly clean. The pictures and description of the property are accurate, and the owners were great about responding to emails promptly. The location was great for us - a short walk to the shops and restaurants of commercial drive and very close to public transportation. The owners were extremely helpful and super friendly. We would definitely recommend this property to others and would stay here again.
