We spent 4 nights in this lovely building and apartment in October and wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was just as described and shown in the photos. The property was clean and well maintained. The location was perfect, close to the Termini train station and metro stops. Central location made it very easy to get around the city. We especially enjoyed the local shops, restaurants and stores. Paolo has prepared some wonderful guides to the city and neighborhood which were very helpful. We would plan to stay at the beautiful Carmen on our next visit and would not hesitate to suggest this beautiful location to our friends. Thank You.

I was very happy that I choose to stay in "Carmen" from many reasons:
1. The apartment is very cozy, clean with lot of space. The decoration is beautiful. The building is also beautiful with amazing elevator. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get
2. Location, Location, Location - 2 minutes from Via Nazionale and P. Repubblica where you can find many bus lines that go to the major places in the city and 5-8 minutes from Trimini
3. Paolo the owner is very nice and honest. Few weeks after I booked the apartment he advise me that unexpected the municipality of Rome is starting a restoration works on the front of the building instate in autumn 2012. He promises me that he will make all the efforts to minimize any eventual possible disturbance to our stay. We really didn't heard or fill anything.
4. The apartment is not far from Monti neighborhood. You can find there lots of excellent restaurants like Crabonara (from 1906), Doozo, Urbana 47 and also sweet and unique shops.

Just to say how much Beverly and I enjoyed staying at the CARMEN last week. The location was excellent and someone who liked walking could certainly walk to all the major attractions. We took the 110 hop on, hop off open top bus to see the sights and this was excellent. The layout of the apartment was fine and with the two bedrooms felt very spacious. It was well equipped, everything worked, and the beds heavenly. The surrounding neighbourhood was very safe, and no time did we feel threatened. The area has plenty of shops, restaurants, take-aways and supermarkets. So I have no hesitation in recommending your apartment for anyone visiting Rome.
So once again thanks for a wonderful holiday at your apartment.

Stayed in the Carmen for 4 nights, the owner Paolo was brilliant he was there to meet and greet us and answer any questions. the apartment was beautiful and really spacious and well lead out. The Jacuzzi bath was idea after a long day exploring Rome. the apartment had everything you need and much much more. It was situated in a really nice secure area and we walked everywhere Fontana Trevi - 10 mins walk, Coliseum - 15-20 mins walk. Paolo also told us which buses we could catch to the Vatican! After staying in this really impressive apartment, I dont think I would stay in a hotel in Rome, you really do get to see the really rome doing this way and also it is great value for money. Hope to be back soon!!

We (2 couples) had a perfect 8 night stay at Carmen in April. The apartment is lovely, exceptionally well equipped down to detergent, paper towels, napkins, spices, oil and vinegar, and extremely comfortable and clean. Beds are excellent. The location was perfect for us, and we were able to walk everywhere - close to everything, but still in a neighborhood. Paolo was a marvelous host who did so much to make our stay comfortable, and Riccardo made our pick-ups and departure to the airport so easy and pleasant. There are many excellent restaurants close by - we highly recommend Colline Emiliane and Asino d'Oro. Don't miss the Villa Borghese. We'd recommend this apartment to anyone, and would certainly love to return.

Our group needed many rooms so we rented also the next door apartment La Boheme, belonging to the same owner, Mr Paolo, so our review stands for both apartments.
Our expectations were fully fulfilled. The apartments were spacious, bright, clean, well and modernly equipped, the beds very comfortable. The street was quiet ,located in an area which enables easy access to major attractions.
Mr Paolo and Mr Riccardo were nice and very helpful in meeting our special needs.
We will warmly recommend these apartments to all our friends.
As we had a wonderful vacation in Rome, we intend to come again and to stay in these lovely apartments.

It's was a wonderful vacation.
When we have entered into apartment, we have fallen in love at once in apartments. The ‘Opera House Carmen’ is very convenient site, a beautiful view from the window, shutters, very good power in apartment, very spacious apartment. It would not be desirable to leave.

The apartment was clean, bright, and spacious. The location was perfect and although in the center of Rome, the street is not very busy. We were within walking distance to the metro, many attractions, restaurants and just about everything. I highly recommend this apartment and would certainly stay here again.
