Our family of 4 stayed at this lakeside property for a week in July. We all enjoyed the experience. The house is nestled among pines with a short path to the lake. It is quite large with bedrooms (4 total) flanking the kitchen and large living room. The deck is large and private and a great spot to sit and linger. The house interior is well appointed with old appliances and bathrooms, but they work fine. Our boys enjoyed exploring the woods, the lake via the boats, and the water trampoline. The water was amazingly warm in July, perfect for swimming. In all, a great family destination, relaxing, but with lots to do.

We had a great week at this property. It was very clean and stocked with just about everything we could have needed.
The layout was great for us---my wife and I slept in the bedrooms at one end of the house and our daughter and family slept in the bedrooms at the other end of the house--privacy for all but all in one place!
The cathedral ceiling and stone fireplace in the living room were awesome. Deck and view were nice.
Only drawback was the walkway to and from the dock, steps uneven and covered with slippery pine needles.

We absolutely loved this beach house. Lake Ossipee is beautiful and it is just steps away from the house. There are two kayaks, a canoe, a row boat, an awesome trampoline, loungers, and a warm, beautiful lake to swim in. The house itself was perfect for our family- my husband and I, our son, our daughter, her husband and their three children, ages 8,5,and 3. The living room was roomy, comfortable, a TV and DVD player, a piano (we had so much fun playing), books, a game playing table, a lovely deck right off of the living room with a gas grill and a charcoal grill. The four bedrooms were perfect- two on one side of the house, two on the other. Towels and linens were provided and the towels were large and soft!! There is no air conditioning but each bedroom had a fan and the evenings cooled off so nicely that we didn't need them. The kitchen and dining room were well stocked with everything you would need to cook and eat with. We ate at the house 6 nights of our stay (the 7th we went to Bay Haven Restaurant in Cornish, Maine for delicious lobsters at the recommendation of the owner). Like the other reviewer said, there was no shopping nearby which meant having to drive about 15 miles up to North Conway for food and other things. But there were so many wonderful things to see and do nearby and always the wonderful lake and lakefront to come home to. We highly recommend this home for your next vacation!
