We live and work in the Kansas City, Mo metro area. We enjoy getting away to the Lake of the Ozarks as much as possible. The distance to the lake is far enough to feel like we are away on vacation, yet close enough we can be there Friday night.

We have been going to the Lake of the Ozarks for vacation over the last 10 years and decided it would be nice to own a home there. We really enjoy the lake, the activities at the lake, and it is a place the kids love going back to. It is amazing the memories it creates for them.
The location of The Lake House is within 15 minutes of just about everything at the lake by land. You can get to the Outlet Mall, Restaurants, Boat Rental places, and Great Night life within 15 minutes. You are in the middle of the lake by water, approximately the 26 mile marker. The Estates pools are where we spend most of our days if we are not on the water. It is so relaxing to layout around the pool, have a beverage, and listen to the boats going by on the water. The kids keep themselves busy playing in the pool. If we get tired of eating out, or want to save some money, we can go back to the house and have sandwiches, salad, or a quick pizza to break up the routine. We set on the deck and play board games, dominos, cards, etc during the evening to relax. Something other than video games, family games and family time together. We also enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, setting out on the porch, and just listening to the birds, boats, and golf carts puttering by, which adds up to very relaxing.
