We have stayed at Sand Cay several times and used this condo twice. It is a nice clean, very spacious condo with a vew from the patio. The beach in front of Sand Cay is a great place for the whole family to hang out and play. Get up early and walk the beach in either direction for some exercise it is extremely tranquil in the mornings. Sometimes there are dolphins out in front of the beach and there are always lots of birds.
Kayaking the mangrove tunnels is one of the funnest family activities near by.

The Sand Cay Beach Resort staff is superb, highly professional team. The resort is well cared for and Longboat Key is an absolutely beautiful beach and the resort provides easy access to many wonderful attractions. We toured Sarasota Bay, the Ringling complex, the Dali Museum, and St. Armand's Circle - all easily accessible from the Sand Cay Beach Resort. There's a wonderful variety of restaurants to experience. It's simply an outstanding base location to explore the region.

This was our second visit to the Sand Cay Beach Resort and both stays were excellent. The third floor unit we rented this spring was updated, clean, and nicely appointed. The unit more than met our expectations and we highly recommend it. Thanks for a perfect vacation!

This was our first time staying at Sand Cay as well as our first time staying in Longboat Key. We loved our short 4 days at this property, beautiful, comfortable, well appointed with all the conveniences of home.
The location of this property is perfect, right on the ocean with a nice large pool for those who prefer not to swim with the fish. The beach is beautiful and there were plenty of chairs for everyone.
This unit, 309, was wonderful and perfect with the two bathroom considering we have two teenagers. Loved the kitchen, it had every gadget except crab leg crackers and we made them twice but thats what my husbands for, lol. Really loved this unit and got our exercise climbing the stairs to the top floor, loved having no one above us. You can't go wrong here.

Although we live on the mainland in Sarasota we like to take time away from our busy life to relax on the beach. After searching for a place lacking crowds of people we found this gem at Sunset Cay. Sitting on the balcony in the morning with a cup of coffee removes us miles away from our home across the bay. The size and decor of the unit is very appealing and there is everything we need to be very comfortable. We stay in touch with the "outside world" using the high speed wi-fi. Restaurants and groceries are near-by. Walks on the uncrowded beach at sunset end the perfect day.

My husband and I just recently returned from our Floriday vacation at your wonderful condo. We've been to Longboat Key several times, but this was the first at Sand Cay Beach. Very comfortable and easy access to the beach and pool. We are already trying to decide when to return.

We (couple and 2 boys aged 8 and 9) stayed in this very nice unit (the first time we stayed in an other unit). It has been renovated, both bathrooms are remodeled. It is decorated beautifully with a european taste. Te unit provides wifi & 3 hi-def TVs, refrigerator with ice mashine, beach towels, beach umbrellas & chairs and some sand toys for the kids. The condo is stocked with eveything you need for a very comfortable vacation. There is a coin laundry next to the office.
The beaches are beautiful and just a minute away. The resort provides chaise lounge chairs for guests use on the beach and at the pool. Beautiful views of the ocean fron the terrace.
Supermarket (Publix), restaurants, etc. within a very short drive. The resort is very very quite and well kept with an on site office/management who were all very friendly and accommodating.
This is a place for people who want a quite and nice vacation on the beach. The condos are build in a way that makes you feel in a private house. We will definitely come back here again for the third time!
